Bible verse of the day Matthew 21:24-26 Elijah-baptism

Matthew 21:24-26

New American Standard 1977

And Jesus answered and said to them, “I will ask you one thing too, which if you tell Me, I will also tell you by what authority I do these things.
“The baptism of John was from what source, from heaven or from men?” And they began reasoning among themselves, saying, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ He will say to us, ‘Then why did you not believe him?’
“But if we say, ‘From men,’ we fear the multitude; for they all hold John to be a prophet.”

Mattheus 21:24-26

Bible teaching

John the Baptist, Zerubbabel, Elisha and Elijah all contained the same spirit; the spirit of Elijah. The spirit of Elijah will return again in the end times before Jesus returns, to turn the hearts of the children to their fathers, to unify the church and to restore all things. His primary mission will be to prepare the children of the woman mentioned in revelations 12 for the return of Christ.
