Bible verses about repenting

Acts 3:18-21

“But the things which God announced beforehand by the mouth of all the prophets, that His Christ should suffer, He has thus fulfilled. Repent therefore and return, that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord; and that He may send Jesus, the Christ appointed for you, whom heaven must receive until the period of restoration of all things about which God spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets from ancient time.”

1 John 1:7-9

but if we walk in the light as He Himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

2 Peter 3:9

The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.

2 Chronicles 7:14

and My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray, and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Hosea 14:2

Take words with you and return to the LORD. Say to Him, “Take away all iniquity, And receive us graciously, That we may present the fruit of our lips.”

Joel 2:13

And rend your heart and not your garments.” Now return to the LORD your God, For He is gracious and compassionate, Slow to anger, abounding in lovingkindness, And relenting of evil.

Matthew 3:8

“Therefore bring forth fruit in keeping with repentance;”

There are 3 concepts repeated over and over again in the new testament, if you are a true believe of Jesus Christ
you will follow these 3 concepts no matter what your denomination creed nationality or togue is. If your denomination do not follow any of these 3 most repeated concepts in the new testament, you should question their true motives.

1) Jesus is the only one whom can save you, not any mortal man, priest, object, saint, ritual or doctrine.
Bible verses confirming this concept.
2) You willingly follow the commandments of God / Jesus Christ and do not view it as work.
Bible verses confirming this concept.
3) Believers in Christ are not appointed to Gods wrath
Bible verses confirming this concept.
