“Truly, I say to you, among those born of women there has not arisen anyone greater than John the Baptist; yet he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.
And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and violent men take it by force.
For all the prophets and the Law prophesied until John.
And if you care to accept it, he himself is Elijah, who was to come.”

Voorwaar Ek se vir julle, onder die wat uit vroue gebore is, het daar nie een opgestaan wat groter is as Johhannes die Doper nie; mmar die kleinste in die koninkryk van die hemele is groter as hy. Maar van die dae van Johannes die Doper of to nou toe word die kroninkryk van die hemele bestorm, en bestormers gryp dit met geweld.
Want al die profete en die wet het tot op Johannes geprofeteer.
En as julle dit will aanneem: hy is Ellia wat sou kom.

John the Baptist, Zerubbabel, Elisha and Elijah all contained the same spirit; the spirit of Elijah. The spirit of Elijah will return again in the end times before Jesus returns, to turn the hearts of the children to their fathers, to unify the church and to restore all things. His primary mission will be to prepare the children of the woman mentioned in revelations 12 for the return of Christ.
