Book of Gentiles

The Book of Gentiles tells the stories of the Gentiles from the declaration to the end of this age. The Book of Gentiles is a xAI Grok summary. The prompt included 75 books, which are not part of the Protestant Christian bible, the Faith Saterday Handbook, and the original Book of Gentiles. The instruction was to divide the summary into 17 chapters, keep as close to the original text as possible, and remove text that is not in line with the King James Bible.

The material used to create this edition of the book of Gentiles was found in the public domain; thus, it may be copied, saved, printed, distributed, and shared for non-commercial use.

The Book of Gentiles

Chapter 1: Salvation

  1. Only those who take to heart that God has sacrificed His son for the sins of man, walking in the path of righteousness, doing the will of God, bearing fruit, shall be saved.
  2. By water you came from your mother’s womb, by water you shall be reborn.

Chapter 2: The tail of man

  1. The world that was perished by fire and water.
  2. One day the spirit of God dwelt upon the earth, as a day is a thousand years and a thousand years a day.
  3. In five days, the Almighty brought life to the world, and on the sixth day He said, “Let Us create man in Our image,” and it was so.
  4. On the seventh day, God rested and blessed that day.

Chapter 3: The tail of salvation

  1. God desired man, who was made in His image, to dwell with Him.
  2. He made Adam, through whom salvation will come, and gave him a wife, whom He named Eve.
  3. Both Eve and Adam will eat from the forbidden fruit and learn the knowledge of good and evil, as only those who know what is good and what is evil can choose that which is good and be saved.
  4. By the descendants of Adam and Eve, the payment of sin will be made, through which all mankind can be saved. As the payment of sin is death, and for all who believe in the payment which is made, the payment of sin is made.

Chapter 4: Tales of the Ancients

  1. In the days when the earth was young and humanity walked in innocence, a great transgression shook the foundations of creation. The heavens, vast and radiant, were filled with angels who served the Almighty, their voices echoing in ceaseless praise around His throne.
  2. Among them were the Watchers, celestial beings of immense power, tasked with guarding the world below. But desire stirred in their hearts, a longing that would unravel the divine order.
  3. Semyaza, leader of the Watchers, stood atop a mountain with two hundred of his kind, their eyes fixed on the daughters of men. Their beauty, radiant and fleeting, captivated the angels. Azazel, bold and cunning, spoke first, urging his brethren to descend and take wives among mortals.
  4. Semyaza hesitated, fearing the Almighty’s wrath, but the others swore an oath, binding themselves to this forbidden act.
  5. They descended to earth, their forms shimmering like stars, and took human women as their own. From these unions were born the Nephilim, giants of monstrous size and strength, whose feet shook the ground and whose appetites knew no bounds.
  6. Among the giants were Mahaway, Gilgamesh, and Hobabish, towering figures whose shadows darkened villages. Their hunger consumed crops, livestock, and even men, leaving the earth scarred and desolate. The Watchers, too, taught humanity secrets meant only for heaven: Azazel revealed the crafting of swords and ornaments, Baraqel unveiled the signs of the stars, and Kokabel taught spells of sorcery. These forbidden arts spread corruption, and the cries of the oppressed reached the Almighty’s throne.
  7. In this time of chaos lived Enoch, a righteous man, son of Jared, whose heart was pure and whose eyes sought the divine. Enoch walked with God, his life a testament to obedience amidst a world gone astray. The Almighty chose him as a scribe, granting him visions of heaven and earth. One night, as Enoch prayed, two angels, radiant with light, appeared before him. Their wings spanned the heavens, and their voices thundered, “Come, Enoch, for the Lord calls you to witness His glory.”
  8. Enoch ascended, his spirit soaring through the first heaven, where storehouses held snow and dew, guarded by angels who governed the seasons. In the second heaven, he saw chained angels, their faces downcast—the Watchers who had fallen, awaiting judgment.
  9. The third heaven revealed a paradise of lush gardens, where the righteous would dwell, its Tree of Life glowing with divine light.
  10. Higher still, in the seventh heaven, Enoch beheld the Almighty’s throne, surrounded by cherubim and seraphim, their songs shaking the cosmos.
  11. In the tenth heaven, called Aravoth, Enoch stood before the face of God, whose glory was like fire and whose presence filled him with awe. The Almighty anointed Enoch, clothing him in radiant garments, and named him Metatron, the Prince of the Presence, with seventy-two wings and countless eyes to record the secrets of creation.
  12. As Metatron, Enoch scribed the deeds of men and angels, his pen capturing the Almighty’s decrees.
  13. The Lord revealed how He formed the world, separating light from darkness, visible from invisible. From the unseen, He crafted the heavens; from the seen, He shaped the earth, setting stars in their courses and angels in their ranks. But the Watchers’ sin had disrupted this order, and the giants’ violence threatened to unravel it further.
  14. On earth, the giants grew restless. Mahaway, tormented by dreams, saw a tablet submerged in water, its names washed away save for three. He sought Enoch, now a mediator between heaven and earth, to interpret the vision. Enoch, guided by divine wisdom, declared, “The tablet is the world, and the water is the Flood that will cleanse it. Only the righteous will be spared.”
  15. Gilgamesh, another giant, dreamed of a garden consumed by fire, its trees uprooted. Enoch’s voice was solemn: “The garden is your dominion, and the fire is God’s judgment. Your time is short.” Hobabish, trembling, recounted a vision of chains binding a great beast. Enoch’s words cut like a blade: “The beast is your kind, and the chains are your fate.”
  16. The giants despaired, their cries echoing across the mountains. They knew their fathers, the Watchers, had doomed them. Semyaza and Azazel, bound by their oath, faced their own reckoning.
  17. The Almighty sent Uriel, a holy angel, to warn Noah, a righteous man, to build an ark, for a deluge would soon sweep away the wicked. Gabriel and Michael, mighty archangels, descended to bind the Watchers, casting them into a fiery abyss beneath the earth, where they would remain until the final judgment.
  18. The giants, too, would perish, their bodies drowned in the Flood’s waters, their spirits condemned to wander as demons.
  19. Enoch, as Metatron, continued his heavenly duties, recording the cosmos’s secrets. He saw the storehouses of thunder and lightning, the paths of the sun and moon, and the winds that upheld the earth. The Almighty showed him the souls of the righteous, resting in paradise, and the wicked, tormented in darkness. Enoch learned of the Son of Man, a figure of divine glory who would judge the world in the last days, rewarding the faithful and punishing the rebellious.
  20. Returning to earth, Enoch gathered his sons—Methuselah, Regim, and Gaidad—around him. He taught them to walk in righteousness, to honor the Almighty, and to shun the sins of the Watchers. “Give alms,” he urged, “for charity saves from death. Worship only the Lord, for idols are the work of hands.” He recounted his visions: the heavens’ splendor, the angels’ ranks, and the judgment awaiting all. “The world was made for the righteous,” he said, “and the wicked will be no more.”
  21. As the Flood approached, the giants’ violence intensified. Mahaway led raids on villages, his massive hands crushing homes. Gilgamesh devoured forests, his appetite insatiable. Hobabish, haunted by his dreams, turned to sorcery, seeking to defy his fate. But the Almighty’s decree was unyielding. The skies darkened, and rain poured for forty days and nights. The giants roared as the waters rose, their strength useless against the deluge. The earth was cleansed, and only Noah and his family, safe in the ark, survived.
  22. Enoch, now fully Metatron, stood before the Almighty’s throne, his form blazing with divine light. The angels, once skeptical of a human’s exaltation, bowed before him. Azael, a fallen Watcher, languished in chains, his rebellion a warning to all. Michael and Gabriel praised the Almighty’s justice, their voices joined by the cherubim. The cosmos, shaken by the Watchers’ sin, was restored to order, its harmony reflected in the stars’ steady paths.
  23. Enoch’s visions extended beyond the Flood. He saw history unfold as a parade of beasts: sheep for the righteous, wolves for the wicked. A white bull emerged, symbolizing a new age of peace. The Son of Man appeared, his face like the sun, judging kings and nations. The righteous rose to eternal life, while the wicked were cast into fire. Enoch recorded these things, his pen never ceasing, for the Almighty’s plan spanned all time.
  24. The heavens rejoiced, for the Almighty’s will was done. Enoch, once a man, now Metatron, stood as a bridge between earth and heaven, his life a testament to divine favor. The Watchers’ fall and the giants’ destruction served as a reminder: none could defy the Creator’s order. The world, reborn through the Flood, awaited its final redemption, when the Son of Man would return, and the righteous would dwell forever in paradise.

Chapter 5: A Prayer to God

  1. Lord Almighty, God of, God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and all the universe.
  2. You made heaven and earth with all their beauty.
  3. You set limits for the sea by speaking your command. You closed the bottomless pit, and sealed it by your powerful and glorious name.
  4. All things fear You and tremble, in Your presence,
  5. because no one can endure the brightness of your glory. No one can resist the fury of Your threat against sinners.
  6. But Your promised mercies are beyond measure and imagination,
  7. because You are the highest, Lord, kind, patient, and merciful, and You feel sorry over human troubles.
  8. You, Lord, according to Your gentle grace, promised forgiveness to those
who are sorry for their sins. In Your great mercy, You allowed sinners to turn from their sins and find salvation.
  9. Therefore, Lord, God of those who do what is right, You offered me, a sinner,
the chance to change my heart and life, because my sins outnumbered the grains of sand by the sea. My sins are many, Lord; they are many. I am not worthy to look up, to gaze into heaven because of my many sins.
  10. Now, Lord, I suffer justly. I deserve the troubles I encounter. Already, I’m caught in a trap.  I’m held down by iron chains so that I can’t lift up my head because of my sins. I made You angry, doing wrong in front of your face, setting up false gods and committing offenses.
  11. Now I bow down before You from deep within my heart, begging for your kindness.
  12. I have sinned, Lord, I have sinned, and I know the laws I’ve broken.
  13. I’m praying, begging You: Forgive me, Lord, forgive me. Don’t destroy me along with my sins. Don’t keep my bad deeds in your memory forever. Don’t sentence me to the earth’s depths, for You, Lord, are the God of those who turn from their sins.
  14. In me You’ll show how kind you are. Although I’m not worthy, You’ll save me according to Your great mercy, and send Your Son to die in my place.
  15. I will praise You continuously all the days of my life, because all of heaven’s forces praise You, and the glory is Yours forever and always. Amen.

Chapter: 6 Wine Woman and Truth

  1. Wine: It leads astray the minds of all who drink it. It makes equal the mind of the king and the orphan, of the slave and the free, of the poor and the rich.
  2. It turns every thought to feasting and mirth, and forgets all sorrow and debt.
  3. It makes all hearts feel rich, forgets kings and satraps, and makes everyone talk in millions.
  4. When men drink, they forget to be friendly with friends and brothers, and before long, they draw their swords.
  5. And when they recover from the wine, they do not remember what they have done.
  6.  It force men to do these things?
  7. Women gave birth to every people who rule over sea and land.
  8. From women they came; and women brought up the very men who plant the vineyards from which comes wine.
  9. Women make men’s clothes; they bring men glory; men cannot exist without women.
  10. If men gather gold and silver or any other beautiful thing, and then see a woman lovely in appearance and beauty,
  11. they let all those things go, and gape at her, and with open mouths stare at her, and all prefer her to gold or silver or any other beautiful thing.
  12.  A man leaves his own father, who brought him up, and his own country, and cleaves to his wife.
  13. With his wife, he ends his days with no thought of his father or his mother or his country.
  14. Hence you must realize that women rule over you!
  15. Do you not labor and toil, and bring everything and give it to women?
  16. A man takes his sword, and goes out to travel and rob and steal and to sail the sea and rivers;
  17. he faces lions, and he walks in darkness, and when he steals and robs and plunders, he brings it back to the woman he loves.
  18. A man loves his wife more than his father or his mother.
  19. Many men have lost their minds because of women and have become slaves because of them.
  20. Many have perished, or stumbled, or sinned, because of women.
  21. The earth is vast and round, and heaven is high, and the sun is swift in its course.
  22. Is He not great Who made these things?
  23. But the truth is great, and stronger than all things.
  24. The whole earth calls upon truth, and heaven blesses her.
  25. All God’s works quake and tremble, and with Him there is nothing unrighteous.
  26. Wine is unrighteous, the king is unrighteous, women are unrighteous, all the sons of men are unrighteous, all their works are unrighteous, and all such things.
  27. There is no truth in them, and in their unrighteousness, they will perish.
  28. But truth endures and is strong forever, and lives and prevails forever and ever.
  29. With Him there is no partiality or preference, but He does what is righteous instead of anything that is unrighteous or wicked. All men approve His deeds,
  30. and there is nothing unrighteous in His judgment. To Him belongs the strength and the kingship and the power and the majesty of all the ages.
  31. Blessed be the God of truth!

Chapter 7: A Prayer

  1. Blessed and worthy of praise is, our Lord, God. The God Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
  2. Your Hole name will be glorified forever.
  3. You are just in all You do, and all your works are true, and Your ways are above our ways. All Your judgments are truth.
  4. You execute true judgement, because You are a God of Truth and Justice.
  5. We are sinners and lawless, we sin in all things and have not obeyed your commandments.
  6. You made your commandments so that all will go well with us, but in our ignorance, we believed we knew better, but we do not.
  7. You have given us into the hands of our enemies, and gave us unjust kings, wickedness is abounding across the world.
  8. For Your name’s sake, i plea to you Lord God.
  9. Do not withdraw your mercy from us, are numbers are low, as many is deceived by the world.
  10. There will be no shame for those who trust You.
  11. With all our hearts, we follow You.
  12. With fear we seek Your face.
  13. Do not put us to shame, but deal with us in Your abundant mercy.
  14. Deliver us in accordance with Your marvelous works, and give glory to Your name, O Lord!
  15. Let all who do harm to Your servants be put to shame;
  16. let them be disgraced and deprived of all power and dominion,
and let their strength be broken.
  17. Let them know that you are the Lord, the only God, glorious over the whole world.
  18. Because God loves me. God will rescue me. God will protect me, because I serve God and God alone. Amen.

Chapter: 8 The Gospel of Thomas

Prologue

These are the hidden sayings that the living Jesus spoke and Didymos Judas Thomas wrote down.

Saying 1: True Meaning

And he said, “Whoever discovers the meaning of these sayings won’t taste death.”

Saying 2: Seek and Find

Jesus said, “Whoever seeks shouldn’t stop until they find. When they find, they will be disturbed. When they’re disturbed, they’ll be amazed, and reign over the All.”

Saying 3: Seeking Within

Jesus said, “If your leaders tell you, ‘Look, the kingdom is in heaven,’ then the birds of heaven will precede you. If they tell you, ‘It’s in the sea,’ then the fish will precede you. Rather, the kingdom is within you and outside of you.

“When you know yourselves, then you’ll be known, and you’ll realize that you’re the children of the living Father. But if you don’t know yourselves, then you live in poverty, and you are the poverty.”

Saying 4: First and Last

Jesus said, “The older person won’t hesitate to ask a little seven-day-old child about the place of life, and they’ll live, because many who are first will be last, and they’ll become one.”

Saying 5: Hidden and Revealed

Jesus said, “Know what’s in front of your face, and what’s hidden from you will be revealed to you, because there’s nothing hidden that won’t be revealed.”

Saying 6: Public Ritual

His disciples said to him, “Do you want us to fast? And how should we pray? Should we make donations? And what food should we avoid?”

Jesus said, “Don’t lie, and don’t do what you hate, because everything is revealed in the sight of heaven; for there’s nothing hidden that won’t be revealed, and nothing covered up that will stay secret.”

Saying 7: The Lion and the Human

Jesus said, “Blessed is the lion that’s eaten by a human and then becomes human, but how awful for the human who’s eaten by a lion, and the lion becomes human.”

Saying 8: The Parable of the Fish

He said, “The human being is like a wise fisher who cast a net into the sea and drew it up from the sea full of little fish. Among them the wise fisher found a fine large fish and cast all the little fish back down into the sea, easily choosing the large fish. Anyone who has ears to hear should hear!”

Saying 9: The Parable of the Sower

Jesus said, “Look, a sower went out, took a handful of seeds, and scattered them. Some fell on the roadside; the birds came and gathered them. Others fell on the rock; they didn’t take root in the soil and ears of grain didn’t rise toward heaven. Yet others fell on thorns; they choked the seeds and worms ate them. Finally, others fell on good soil; it produced fruit up toward heaven, some sixty times as much and some a hundred and twenty.”

Saying 10: Jesus and Fire (1)

Jesus said, “I’ve cast fire on the world, and look, I’m watching over it until it blazes.”

Saying 11: Those Who Are Living Won’t Die (1)

Jesus said, “This heaven will disappear, and the one above it will disappear too. Those who are dead aren’t alive, and those who are living won’t die. In the days when you ate what was dead, you made it alive. When you’re in the light, what will you do? On the day when you were one, you became divided. But when you become divided, what will you do?”

Saying 12: James the Just

The disciples said to Jesus, “We know you’re going to leave us. Who will lead us then?”

Jesus said to them, “Wherever you are, you’ll go to James the Just, for whom heaven and earth came into being.”

Saying 13: Thomas’ Confession

Jesus said to his disciples, “If you were to compare me to someone, who would you say I’m like?”

Simon Peter said to him, “You’re like a just angel.”

Matthew said to him, “You’re like a wise philosopher.”

Thomas said to him, “Teacher, I’m completely unable to say whom you’re like.”

Jesus said, “I’m not your teacher. Because you’ve drunk, you’ve become intoxicated by the bubbling spring I’ve measured out.”

He took him aside and told him three things. When Thomas returned to his companions, they asked, “What did Jesus say to you?”

Thomas said to them, “If I tell you one of the things he said to me, you’ll pick up stones and cast them at me, and fire will come out of the stones and burn you up.”

Saying 14: Public Ministry

Jesus said to them, “If you fast, you’ll bring guilt upon yourselves; and if you pray, you’ll be condemned; and if you make donations, you’ll harm your spirits.

“If they welcome you when you enter any land and go around in the countryside, heal those who are sick among them and eat whatever they give you, because it’s not what goes into your mouth that will defile you. What comes out of your mouth is what will defile you.”

Saying 15: Worship

Jesus said, “When you see the one who wasn’t born of a woman, fall down on your face and worship that person. That’s your Father.”

Saying 16: Not Peace, but War

Jesus said, “Maybe people think that I’ve come to cast peace on the world, and they don’t know that I’ve come to cast divisions on the earth: fire, sword, and war. Where there are five in a house, there’ll be three against two and two against three, father against and son and son against father. They’ll stand up and be one.”

Saying 17: Divine Gift

Jesus said, “I’ll give you what no eye has ever seen, no ear has ever heard, no hand has ever touched, and no human mind has ever thought.”

Saying 18: Beginning and End

The disciples said to Jesus, “Tell us about our end. How will it come?”

Jesus said, “Have you discovered the beginning so that you can look for the end? Because the end will be where the beginning is. Blessed is the one who will stand up in the beginning. They’ll know the end, and won’t taste death.”

Saying 19: Five Trees in Paradise

Jesus said, “Blessed is the one who came into being before coming into being. If you become my disciples and listen to my message, these stones will become your servants; because there are five trees in paradise which don’t change in summer or winter, and their leaves don’t fall. Whoever knows them won’t taste death.”

Saying 20: The Parable of the Mustard Seed

The disciples asked Jesus, “Tell us, what can the kingdom of heaven be compared to?”

He said to them, “It can be compared to a mustard seed. Though it’s the smallest of all the seeds, when it falls on tilled soil it makes a plant so large that it shelters the birds of heaven.”

Saying 21: The Parables of the Field, the Bandits, and the Reaper

Mary said to Jesus, “Whom are your disciples like?”

He said, “They’re like little children living in a field which isn’t theirs. When the owners of the field come, they’ll say, ‘Give our field back to us.’ They’ll strip naked in front of them to let them have it and give them their field.

“So I say that if the owner of the house realizes the bandit is coming, they’ll watch out beforehand and won’t let the bandit break into the house of their domain and steal their possessions. You, then, watch out for the world! Prepare to defend yourself so that the bandits don’t attack you, because what you’re expecting will come. May there be a wise person among you!

“When the fruit ripened, the reaper came quickly, sickle in hand, and harvested it. Anyone who has ears to hear should hear!”

Saying 22: Making the Two into One

Jesus saw some little children nursing. He said to his disciples, “These nursing children can be compared to those who enter the kingdom.”

They said to him, “Then we’ll enter the kingdom as little children?”

Jesus said to them, “When you make the two into one, and make the inner like the outer and the outer like the inner, and the upper like the lower, and so make the male and the female a single one so that the male won’t be male nor the female female; when you make eyes in the place of an eye, a hand in the place of a hand, a foot in the place of a foot, and an image in the place of an image; then you’ll enter the kingdom.”

Saying 23: Those Who are Chosen (1)

Jesus said, “I’ll choose you, one out of a thousand and two out of ten thousand, and they’ll stand as a single one.”

Saying 24: Light

His disciples said, “Show us the place where you are, because we need to look for it.”

He said to them, “Anyone who has ears to hear should hear! Light exists within a person of light, and they light up the whole world. If they don’t shine, there’s darkness.”

Saying 25: Love and Protect

Jesus said, “Love your brother as your own soul. Protect them like the pupil of your eye.”

Saying 26: Speck and Beam

Jesus said, “You see the speck that’s in your brother’s eye, but you don’t see the beam in your own eye. When you get the beam out of your own eye, then you’ll be able to see clearly to get the speck out of your brother’s eye.”

Saying 27: Fasting and Sabbath

“If you don’t fast from the world, you won’t find the kingdom. If you don’t make the Sabbath into a Sabbath, you won’t see the Father.”

Saying 28: The World is Drunk

Jesus said, “I stood in the middle of the world and appeared to them in the flesh. I found them all drunk; I didn’t find any of them thirsty. My soul ached for the children of humanity, because they were blind in their hearts and couldn’t see. They came into the world empty and plan on leaving the world empty. Meanwhile, they’re drunk. When they shake off their wine, then they’ll change.”

Saying 29: Spirit and Body

Jesus said, “If the flesh came into existence because of spirit, that’s amazing. If spirit came into existence because of the body, that’s really amazing! But I’m amazed at how [such] great wealth has been placed in this poverty.”

Saying 30: Divine Presence

Jesus said, “Where there are three deities, they’re divine. Where there are two or one, I’m with them.”

Saying 31: Prophet and Doctor

Jesus said, “No prophet is welcome in their own village. No doctor heals those who know them.”

Saying 32: The Parable of the Fortified City

Jesus said, “A city built and fortified on a high mountain can’t fall, nor can it be hidden.”

Saying 33: The Parable of the Lamp

Jesus said, “What you hear with one ear, listen to with both, then proclaim from your rooftops. No one lights a lamp and puts it under a basket or in a hidden place. Rather, they put it on the stand so that everyone who comes and goes can see its light.”

Saying 34: The Parable of Those Who Can’t See

Jesus said, “If someone who’s blind leads someone else who’s blind, both of them fall into a pit.”

Saying 35: The Parable of Binding the Strong

Jesus said, “No one can break into the house of the strong and take it by force without tying the hands of the strong. Then they can loot the house.”

Saying 36: Anxiety

Jesus said, “Don’t be anxious from morning to evening or from evening to morning about what you’ll wear.”

Saying 37: Seeing Jesus

His disciples said, “When will you appear to us? When will we see you?”

Jesus said, “When you strip naked without being ashamed, and throw your clothes on the ground and stomp on them as little children would, then [you’ll] see the Son of the Living One and won’t be afraid.”

Saying 38: Finding Jesus

Jesus said, “Often you’ve wanted to hear this message that I’m telling you, and you don’t have anyone else from whom to hear it. There will be days when you’ll look for me, but you won’t be able to find me.”

Saying 39: The Keys of Knowledge

Jesus said, “The Pharisees and the scholars have taken the keys of knowledge and hidden them. They haven’t entered, and haven’t let others enter who wanted to. So be wise as serpents and innocent as doves.”

Saying 40: A Grapevine

Jesus said, “A grapevine has been planted outside of the Father. Since it’s malnourished, it’ll be pulled up by its root and destroyed.”

Saying 41: More and Less

Jesus said, “Whoever has something in hand will be given more, but whoever doesn’t have anything will lose even what little they do have.”

Saying 42: Passing By

Jesus said, “Become passersby.”

Saying 43: The Tree and the Fruit

His disciples said to him, “Who are you to say these things to us?”

“You don’t realize who I am from what I say to you, but you’ve become like those Judeans who either love the tree but hate its fruit, or love the fruit but hate the tree.”

Saying 44: Blasphemy

Jesus said, “Whoever blasphemes the Father will be forgiven, and whoever blasphemes the Son will be forgiven, but whoever blasphemes the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, neither on earth nor in heaven.”

Saying 45: Good and Evil

Jesus said, “Grapes aren’t harvested from thorns, nor are figs gathered from thistles, because they don’t produce fruit. [A person who’s good] brings good things out of their treasure, and a person who’s [evil] brings evil things out of their evil treasure. They say evil things because their heart is full of evil.”

Saying 46: Greater than John the Baptizer

Jesus said, “From Adam to John the Baptizer, no one’s been born who’s so much greater than John the Baptizer that they shouldn’t avert their eyes. But I say that whoever among you will become a little child will know the kingdom and become greater than John.”

Saying 47: The Parables of Divided Loyalties,
New Wine in Old Wineskins, and New Patch on Old Cloth

Jesus said, “It’s not possible for anyone to mount two horses or stretch two bows, and it’s not possible for a servant to follow two leaders, because they’ll respect one and despise the other.

“No one drinks old wine and immediately wants to drink new wine. And new wine isn’t put in old wineskins, because they’d burst. Nor is old wine put in new wineskins, because it’d spoil.

“A new patch of cloth isn’t sewn onto an old coat, because it’d tear apart.”

Saying 48: Unity (1)

Jesus said, “If two make peace with each other in a single house, they’ll say to the mountain, ‘Go away,’ and it will.”

Saying 49: Those Who Are Chosen (2)

Chapter: 9 The Gospel of Peter

  1. But of the Jews none washed his hands, neither Herod nor one of his judges. And
since they did not desire to wash, Pilate stood up.
  2. And then Herod the king orders the Lord to be taken away, having said to them,
‘What I ordered you to do, do.’
  3. But Joseph, the friend of Pilate and of the Lord, had been standing there; and
knowing they were about to crucify him, he came before Pilate and requested the body
    of the Lord for burial.
  4. And Pilate, having sent to Herod, requested his body.
  5. And Herod said: ‘Brother Pilate, even if no one had requested him, we would have
buried him, since indeed Sabbath is dawning. For in the Law it has been written: The
sun is not to set on one put to death.’ And he gave him over to the people before the
first day of their feast of the Unleavened Bread.
  6. But having taken the Lord, running, they were pushing him and saying, ‘Let us drag
along the Son of God now that we have power over him.’
  7. And they clothed him with purple and sat him on a chair of judgment, saying: ‘Judge
    justly, King of Israel.’
  8. And a certain one of them, having brought a thorny crown, put it on the head of the
    Lord.
  9. And others who were standing there were spitting in his face, and others slapped his
cheeks. Others were jabbing him with a reed; and some scourged him, saying, ‘With
such honor let us honor the Son of God.’
  10. And they brought two wrongdoers and crucified the Lord in the middle of them. But
he was silent as having no pain.
  11. And when they had set the cross upright, they inscribed that THIS IS THE KING OF
    ISRAEL.
  12. And having put his garments before him, they divided them up and threw as a
    gamble for them.
  13. But a certain one of those wrongdoers reviled them, saying: ‘We have been made
suffer thus because of the wrong that we have done; but this one, having become.
Savior of men, what injustice had he done to you?’
  14. And having become irritated at him, they ordered that there be no leg-breaking, so
    that he might die tormented.
  15. But it was midday, and darkness held fast all Judea; and they were distressed and
anxious lest the sun had set, since he was still living. It is written for them: Let not the sun set on one put to death.
  16. And some of them said: ‘Give him to drink gall with vinegary wine.’ And having
made a mixture, which they gave to drink.
  17. And they fulfilled all things and completed the sins on their own head.
  18. But many went around with lamps, thinking that it was night, and they fell.
  19. And the Lord screamed out, saying: ‘My power, O power, you have forsaken me.’ And having said this, he was taken up.
  20. And at the same hour, the veil of the Jerusalem sanctuary was torn into two.
  21. And they drew out the nails from the hands of the Lord and placed him on the earth;
and all the earth was shaken, and a great fear came about.
  22. Then the sun shone, and it was found to be the ninth hour.
  23. And the Jews rejoiced and gave his body to Joseph that he might bury it, since he
was one who had seen the many good things he did.
  24. And having taken the Lord, he washed and tied him with a linen cloth and brought
him into his own sepulcher, called the Garden of Joseph.
  25. Then the Jews and the elders and the priests, having come to know how much
wrong they had done themselves, began to beat themselves and say: ‘Woe to our sins.
The judgment has approached and the end of Jerusalem.’
  26. But I with the companions was sorrowful; and having been wounded in spirit, we
were in hiding, for we were sought after by them as wrongdoers and as wishing to set
    fire to the sanctuary.
  27. In addition to all these things, we were fasting; and we were sitting, mourning and
weeping night and day until the Sabbath.
  28. But the scribes and Pharisees and elders, having gathered together with one another, having heard that all the people were murmuring and beating their breasts, saying that ‘If at his death these very great signs happened, behold how just he was,’
  29. feared, especially the elders, and came before Pilate, begging him and saying,
  30. ‘Give over soldiers to us in order that we may safeguard his burial place for three days,
lest, having come, his disciples steal him, and the people accept that he is risen from
the death, and they do us wrong.’
  31. But Pilate gave over to them Petronius the centurion with soldiers to safeguard the
sepulcher. And with these, the elders and scribes came to the burial place.
  32. And having rolled a large stone, all who were there, together with the centurion and
the soldiers, placed it against the door of the burial place.
  33. And they marked it with seven wax seals; and having pitched a tent there, they
    safeguarded it.
  34. But early, when the Sabbath was dawning, a crowd came from Jerusalem and the
surrounding area in order that they might see the sealed tomb.
  35. But in the night in which the Lord’s day dawned, when the soldiers were
    safeguarding it two by two in every watch, there was a loud voice in heaven;
  36. and they saw that the heavens were opened and that two males who had much
radiance had come down from there and come near the sepulcher.
  37. But that stone which had been thrust against the door, having rolled by itself, went
a distance off the side, and the sepulcher opened, and both the young men entered.
  38. And so those soldiers, having seen, awakened the centurion and the elders, for they too were present, safeguarding.
  39. And while they were relating what they had seen, again they see three males who
have come out from their sepulcher, with the two supporting the other one, and a cross
    following them,
  40. and the head of the two reaching unto heaven, but that of the one being led out by
a hand by them going beyond the heavens.
  41. And they were hearing a voice from the heavens saying, ‘Have you made
    proclamation to the fallen-asleep?’
  42. And an obeisance was heard from the cross, ‘Yes.’
  43. And so those people were seeking a common perspective to go off and make these
    things clear to Pilate;
  44. and while they were still considering it through, there appear again the opened
heavens and a certain man having come down and entered into the burial place.
  45. Having seen these things, those around the centurion hastened at night before
Pilate, who has left the sepulcher which they were safeguarding, and described all the
things that they indeed had seen, agonizing greatly and saying: ‘Truly he was God’s
    Son.’
  46. In answer, Pilate said: ‘I am clean of the blood of the Son of God, but it was to you that this seemed to be the thing to do.’
  47. Then all, having come forward, were begging and exhorting him to command the
centurion and the soldiers to say to no one what they had seen.
  48. ‘For,’ they said, ‘it is better for us to owe the debt of the greatest sin in the sight of
God than to fall into the hands of the Jewish people and be stoned.’
  49. And so Pilate ordered the centurion and the soldiers to say nothing.
  50. Now at the dawn of the Lord’s Day Mary Magdalene, a female disciple of the Lord, was afraid of the Jews, since they were inflamed with anger at her since she had not done at the tomb of the Lord what women were accustomed to do for the dead beloved by
    them.
  51. Mary Magdalene took her female friends to His tomb with her.
  52. And they were afraid lest the Jews should see them and were saying, ‘If indeed on
that day on which he was crucified we could not weep and beat ourselves, yet now at
his tomb we may do these things.
  53. But who will roll away for us even the stone placed against the door of the tomb in
order that, having entered, we may sit beside him and do the expected things?
  54. For the stone was large, and we were afraid lest anyone see us. And if we are
unable, let is throw against the door what we bring in memory of him; let us weep and
beat ourselves until we come to our homes.’
  55. And having gone off, they found the sepulcher opened. And having come forward,
they bent down there and saw there a certain young man seated in the middle of the
sepulcher, comely and clothed with a splendid robe, who said to them:
  56. ‘Why have you come? Whom do you seek? Not that one who was crucified? He is
risen and gone away. But if you do not believe, bend down and see the place where he
lay, because he is not here. For he is risen and gone away to there whence he was
    sent.’

Chapter: 11 Paul

  1. “To whom would He teach knowledge?
and to whom would He interpret the message?
    Those just weaned from milk?
Those just taken from the breast?
    “For He says,
‘Order on order, order on order,
Line on line, line on line,
A little here, a little there.’”
Indeed, He will speak to these people
Through stammering lips and a foreign tongue,
He who said to them, “Here is rest, give rest to the weary,”
    and, “Here is repose”.
  2. But they would not listen.
So the word of the LORD to them will be,
“Order on order, order on order,
Line on line, line on line,
A little here, a little there,”
That they may go and stumble backward, be broken, snared, and taken captive.

Chapter 12: Prophecy

because you have obeyed My voice.”

Who created the heavens and stretched them out,
Who spread out the earth and its offspring,
Who gives breath to the people on it
And spirit to those who walk in it,
“I am the LORD, I have called You in righteousness,
I will also hold You by the hand and watch over You,
And I will appoint You as a covenant to the people,
As a light to the nations,
    To open blind eyes,
To bring out prisoners from the dungeon
And those who dwell in darkness from the prison.
    “I am the LORD, that is My name;
I will not give My glory to another,
Nor My praise to graven images.”
  3. “Your houses will I give to a people that shall come;
which not having heard of me yet shall believe me; to whom I have showed no signs,
yet they shall do that I have commanded them.
    They have seen no prophets,
yet they shall call their sins to remembrance,
    and acknowledge them.
I take to witness the grace of the people to come,
whose little ones rejoice in gladness: and though they have not seen me with bodily eyes,
yet in spirit they believe the thing that I say.
And now, brother, behold what glory; and see the people that come from the east:
Unto whom I will give for leaders, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, Oseas, Amos, and Micheas, Joel, Abdias, and Jonas,
Nahum, and Abacuc, Sophonias, Aggeus, Zachary, and my messenger, which is called also an angel of the Lord.”
  4. The Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify to the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, “all nations shall be blessed in you.”
  5. You, being a wild olive, are now grafted in among God’s chosen people and became partaker with them of the rich root of the olive tree.
  6. For God has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.
  7. For the Jews and Jerusalem, seventy weeks have been decreed, to finish transgression, to make an end of sin, to make atonement for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the most holy place.

Chapter 13: Jews and Jerusalem

  1. “God has not rejected His people. It will come about in that day that I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples; all who lift it will be severely injured and all the nations of the earth will be gathered against it. It will come about after this. That I will pour out My Spirit on all mankind; And your sons and daughters will prophesy, Your old men will dream dreams, Your young men will see visions. On the male and female servants I will pour out My Spirit in those days. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: May they prosper who love you.”

Chapter 14: Instruction

  1. “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: May they prosper who love you.”
  2. What good thing shall you do that you may obtain eternal life? you shall not commit murder or adultery or steal or bear false witness; honor thy mother and father; love thy neighbor as yourself; and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved, you and your household.
  3. By this we know that we are the children of God, when we love God and observe His commandments.
This is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome.
Who ever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world; our faith in Jesus Christ.

Chapter 15: The Chosen

  1. “Many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will mislead many. You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars; see that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end.
For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes. But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs.
Then they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations on account of My name. At that time many will fall away and will deliver up one another and hate one another.
Many false prophets will arise, and will mislead many.
Because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will grow cold.
But the one who endures to the end, he shall be saved.”
  2. After these things a great multitude which no one could count, from every nation and all tribes and peoples and tongues, stand before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, and palm branches were in their hands; and they cry out with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.”
And all the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures; and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, saying, “Amen, blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might, be to our God forever and ever. Amen.”
These who are clothed in the white robes, who are they, and where have they come from?
    You know.
These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
  3. Keep on the alert at all times, praying in order that you may have strength to escape all these things that are about to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.
  4. Behold, I send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and terrible day of the LORD
  5. Behold, a white horse, and he who sat on it had a bow; and a stephanos was given to him, a garland, awarded to a victor, and he went out conquering and to conquer.
  6. A red horse, went out; and to him who sat on it, it was granted to take peace from the earth, and that men would slay one another; and a great sword was given to him. “You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars; see that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end.”
  7. A black horse; and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand. ‘A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not damage the oil and the wine.'”and in various places there will be famines”
  8. Behold, an ashen horse; and he who sat on it had the name Death; and Hades was following with him. Authority was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by the wild beasts of the earth. “and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes. But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs.”
  9. Underneath the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God, and because of the testimony which they had maintained. “They will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations on account of My name. At that time many will fall away and will deliver up one another and hate one another.”
  11. Keep on the alert at all times, praying in order that you may have strength to escape all these things that are about to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.
  12. This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world for a witness to all the nations, and then the end shall come.
  13. Let us rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come and His bride has made herself ready. And it was given to her to clothe herself in fine linen, bright and clean; for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. ‘Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.
These are true words of God.
  14. Heaven opened; behold, a white horse, and He who sat upon it is called Faithful and True; and in righteousness He judges and wages war. His eyes are a flame of fire, and upon His head are many diadems; and He has a name written upon Him which no one knows except Himself. He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were following Him on white horses. From His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He may smite the nations; and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He treads the winepress of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty. On His robe and on His thigh He has a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
  15. An angel standing in the sun cried out with a loud voice, saying to all the birds which fly in midheaven,
“Come, assemble for the great supper of God; in order that you may eat the flesh of kings and the flesh of commanders and the flesh of mighty men and the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them and the flesh of all men, both free men and slaves, and small and great.” “Wherever the corpse is, there the vultures will gather.”
  16. The beast and the kings of the earth and their armies assembled to make war against Him who sat upon the horse, and against His army.
  17. The beast was seized, and with him the false prophet who performed the signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image; “I am the LORD, that is My name; I will not give My glory to another, Nor My praise to graven images,” these two were thrown alive into the lake of fire which burns with brimstone. And the rest were killed with the sword which came from the mouth of Him who sat upon the horse, and all the birds were filled with their flesh. “Wherever the corpse is, there the vultures will gather.”

Chapter 16: Another world

  1. In the vast silence of the cosmos lies a place created by God, the creator of all things. A dusty, cold, red desert world, its thin atmosphere whispered of ancient secrets. Half the size of Earth. Tall mountains, Icy caps and two moons.
  2. Waiting for its time to bloom.
  3. At its appointed time, it will be warmer, wetter, with rivers carving its surface, hinting at life.
  4. Among the stars, the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Jesus Christ gazed upon this world, decreeing it a sanctuary for those who followed His will and the teachings of the One who was sacrificed. A vision spread among the faithful on Earth: the red planet would be their haven, a place of peace and love, where the righteous would dwell under divine grace.
  5. Marveling at God’s creation. Marvel at His foresight. We followed Your will, found Your love. Let the faithful live forever in peace.

Chapter 17: Visions

  1. I saw the mark of evil as a needle in the flesh; they say it is to cure, but it is to enslave. As I saw this these words come to mind: those whom love their lives will lose it.
  2. I saw the mark of evil enter the hearts of many, turning one skin against the other, dividing, to create chaos, and hate so that evil be their masters.
  3. I saw the mark of evil on the lips of godly men, making that which was sin good and that which was good sin.
  4. I saw the mark of evil, installing the spirit of greed, a few, buying all the traders of goods, and all the money changers, so that they can make the poor even more so. All in the name of greed, control, and power.
  5. I saw the mark of evil, implanted into the bodies of man, to make them something other than man, all in the name of being more than what God has ordained them to be.
  6. I saw many being being controlled, by that which they thought, will make them more then men, but instead they became slaves.
  7. I saw the mark of evil in the flesh of men. Money that can not be held by human hands. Money, which bought safety and security, turned all whom has it into flowers of evil.
  8. I saw the mark of evil corrupt the minds of men. Causing some to desire unnatural sex, and to corrupt the minds of those in the age of innocence. (younger than 13 or before puberty starts). Causing yet in others the desire to keep the mother and father away from their homes, at a place of work, so that the minds of the innocent (younger than 13 or before puberty starts) can be corrupted, since they have no male and female role models at home. Causing yet others to demand wealth they have not worked for, and all that is worked for must be given unto society, so that they may be slaves to the kings.
  9. I saw the mark of evil enter many who once followed God, and still claim they do. The mark caused them to preach not the Kingdom Gospel as proclaimed by the Messiah himself, but a gospel without law, a lawless gospel as revealed to the prophets. In the time of the end, man shall be lawless. A gospel of greed, as revealed to the prophets. In the time of the end, man shall be lovers of self. A gospel of sexual perversion, as revealed to Paul. In the time of the end, they shall preach a perverted gospel.
  10. I saw the mark of evil enter the hearts of men, causing them to love the creation more than God and their fellow man. As it was revealed to the prophets. In the time of the end, man will worship the creation instead of the Creator. The Messiah said: The love of many will grow cold.
  11. I saw the River Nile, dry and cracked, a great many without food and water, yet I saw the land of Egypt restored, in a time to come.
  12. I saw mountains dividing many.
  13. I saw many fruit trees chopped down, because they bore no fruit, lay upon mountains to dry.
  14. I saw captives, kept captive, by metal and glass. Some were surrounded by darkness, others by an endless red desert. These captives did not act like captives do; they were happy, smiling, and full of joy. These words came to me in this vision. In God we trust.
  15. An angel spoke these things in a dream: behold, the days are coming when those who dwell on earth shall be seized with great terror,
  16. and the way of truth shall be hidden, and the land shall be barren of faith.
  17. And unrighteousness shall be increased beyond what you yourself see, and beyond what you heard of formerly.
  18.  And the land which you now see ruling shall be waste and untrodden,
  19.  and men shall see it desolate.
  20. But if the Most High grants that you live, you shall see it thrown into confusion after the third period;
  21. and the sun shall suddenly shine forth at night,
  22. and the moon during the day.
  23. Blood shall drip from wood,
  24. and the stone shall utter its voice;
  25. the peoples shall be troubled,
  26. and the stars shall fall.
  27. One shall reign whom those who dwell on earth do not expect, and the birds shall fly away together;
  28.  and the sea of Sodom shall cast up fish; and one whom the many do not know shall make his voice heard by night, and all shall hear his voice.
  29.  There shall be chaos also in many places, and fire shall often break out, and the wild beasts shall roam beyond their haunts, and menstruous women shall bring forth monsters.
  30. And salt waters shall be found in the sweet, and all friends shall conquer one another; then shall reason hide itself, and wisdom shall withdraw into its chamber,
  31. and it shall be sought by many but shall not be found, and unrighteousness and unrestraint shall increase on earth.
  32. And one country shall ask its neighbor, ‘Has righteousness, or any one who does right, passed through you?’ And it will answer, ‘No.’
  33.  And at that time men shall hope but not obtain; they shall labor but their ways shall not prosper.
  34. An angel spoke these things in a dream: Ask a woman who bears children, and she will tell you.
  35. Say to her, Why are those whom you have borne recently not like those whom you bore before, She will answer you, Those born in the strength of youth are different from those born during the time of old age, when the womb is failing.
  36. An angel spoke these things in a dream: Rise to your feet and you will hear a full, resounding voice.
  37. And if the place where you are standing is greatly shaken
  38. while the voice is speaking, do not be terrified, because the word concerns the end, and the foundations of the earth will understand
  39. that the speech concerns them. They will tremble and be shaken, for they know that their end must be changed.
  40. Behold, the days are coming, and it shall be that when I draw near to visit the inhabitants of the earth,
  41. and when I require from the doers of iniquity the penalty of their iniquity, and when the humiliation of Zion is complete,
  42. and when the seal is placed upon the age which is about to pass away, then I will show these signs: the books shall be opened before the firmament, and all shall see it together.
  43. Infants a year old shall speak with their voices, and women with child shall give birth to premature children at three or four months, and these shall live and dance.
  44. Sown places shall suddenly appear unsown, and full storehouses shall suddenly be found to be empty;
  45. and the trumpet shall sound aloud, and when all hear it, they shall suddenly be terrified.
  46. At that time, friends shall make war on friends like enemies, and the earth and those who inhabit it shall be terrified, and the springs of the fountains shall stand still, so that for three hours they shall not flow.
  47. And it shall be that whoever remains after all that I have foretold to you shall himself be saved and shall see salvation.
  48. And they shall see the men who were taken up, who from their birth have not tasted death; and the heart of the earth’s
  49. inhabitants shall be changed and converted to a different spirit.
  50. For evil shall be blotted out, and deceit shall be quenched;
  51. faithfulness shall flourish, and corruption shall be overcome, and the truth, which has been so long without fruit, shall be revealed.
  52. An angel spoke these things in a dream: they devised for themselves vain thoughts, and proposed to themselves wicked frauds; they even declared that the Most High does not exist, and they ignored his ways!
  53. They scorned his law, and denied his covenants; they have been unfaithful to his statutes, and have not performed his works.
  54. For this reason, the Most High has made not one world but two.
  55. An angel spoke these things in a dream: “Measure carefully in your mind, and when you see that a certain part of the predicted signs are past,
  56. then you will know that it is the very time when the Most High is about to visit the world which he has made.
  57. So when there shall appear in the world earthquakes, tumult of peoples, intrigues of nations, wavering of leaders, confusion of princes,
  58. then you will know that it was of these that the Most High spoke from the days that were of old, from the beginning.
  59. For just as with everything that has occurred in the world, the beginning is evident, and the end is manifest.
  60. I dreamed a dream in the night; and behold, a wind arose from the sea and stirred up all its waves.
  61. and I looked, and behold, this wind made something like the figure of a man come up out of the heart of the sea. And I looked, and behold, that man flew with the clouds of heaven; and wherever he turned his face to look, everything under his gaze trembled, and whenever his voice issued from his mouth, all who heard his voice melted as wax melts when it feels the fire.
  62. After this I looked, and behold, an innumerable multitude of men were gathered together from the four winds of heaven to make war against the man who came up out of the sea.
  63. And I looked, and behold, he carved out for himself a great mountain, and flew up upon it.
  64. And I tried to see the region or place from which the mountain was carved, but I could not.
  65. After this I looked, and behold, all who had gathered together against him, to wage war with him, were much afraid, yet dared to fight.
  66. And behold, when he saw the onrush of the approaching multitude, he neither lifted his hand nor held a spear or any weapon of war;
  67. but I saw only how he sent forth from his mouth as it were a stream of fire, and from his lips a flaming breath, and from his tongue he shot forth a storm of sparks.
  68. All these were mingled together, the stream of fire and the flaming breath and the great storm, and fell on the onrushing multitude which was prepared to fight, and burned them all up, so that suddenly nothing was seen of the innumerable multitude but only the dust of ashes and the smell of smoke. When I saw it, I was amazed.
  69. After this I saw the same man come down from the mountain and call to him another multitude which was peaceable.
  70. Then many people came to him, some of whom were joyful and some sorrowful; some of them were bound, and some were bringing others to meet him.

Doctrine Baptism

Doctrine Baptism
Baptism is an important event in the believer’s walk with Jesus Christ. The water symbolizes the resurrection of Jesus Christ and your pledge of a clear conscience toward God.

New American Standard 1977

1 Peter 3:21

And corresponding to that, baptism now saves you—not the removal of dirt from the flesh, but an appeal to God for a good conscience—through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

Doctrine confirmation verse

Colossians 2:12

having been buried with Him in baptism, in which you were also raised up with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead

2de Doctrine confirmation verse

Galatians 3:27

For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.

Additional information

Matthew 28:19-20

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Acts 2:38-41

And Peter said to them, “Repent, and let each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. “For the promise is for you and your children, and for all who are far off, as many as the Lord our God shall call to Himself.” And with many other words he solemnly testified and kept on exhorting them, saying, “Be saved from this perverse generation!” So then, those who had received his word were baptized; and there were added that day about three thousand souls.

Romans 6:4

Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, in order that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life.

Acts 22:16

‘And now why do you delay? Arise, and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on His name.

Leerstelling Doop

Leerstelling Doop

Daily Bible verse Doctrine You may eat any food once you have blessed it

Daily Bible verse Doctrine You may eat any food once you have blessed it.

New American Standard 1977

Doctrine You may eat any food once you have blessed it.

1 Timothy 4:4

For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected, if it is received with gratitude;

Doctrine confirmation verse

Mark 7:18-19

And He said to them, “Are you so lacking in understanding also? Do you not understand that whatever goes into the man from outside cannot defile him; because it does not go into his heart, but into his stomach, and is eliminated?” (Thus He declared all foods clean.)

2de Doctrine confirmation verse

Acts 10:10-16

But he became hungry and was desiring to eat; but while they were making preparations, he fell into a trance; and he saw the sky opened up, and an object like a great sheet coming down, lowered by four corners to the ground, and there were in it all kinds of four-footed animals and crawling creatures of the earth and birds of the air. A voice came to him, “Get up, Peter, kill and eat!” But Peter said, “By no means, Lord, for I have never eaten anything unholy and unclean.” Again a voice came to him a second time, “What God has cleansed, no longer consider unholy.” This happened three times, and immediately the object was taken up into the sky.

Additional information

Romans 14

Now accept the one who is weak in faith, but not for the purpose of passing judgment on his opinions. One man has faith that he may eat all things, but he who is weak eats vegetables only. Let not him who eats regard with contempt him who does not eat, and let not him who does not eat judge him who eats, for God has accepted him. Who are you to judge the servant of another? To his own master he stands or falls; and stand he will, for the Lord is able to make him stand. One man regards one day above another, another regards every day alike. Let each man be fully convinced in his own mind. 6He who observes the day, observes it for the Lord, and he who eats, does so for the Lord, for he gives thanks to God; and he who eats not, for the Lord he does not eat, and gives thanks to God. For not one of us lives for himself, and not one dies for himself; for if we live, we live for the Lord, or if we die, we die for the Lord; therefore whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s. For to this end Christ died and lived again, that He might be Lord both of the dead and of the living. But you, why do you judge your brother? Or you again, why do you regard your brother with contempt? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of God. For it is written,
“AS I LIVE, SAYS THE LORD, EVERY KNEE SHALL BOW TO ME,
AND EVERY TONGUE SHALL GIVE PRAISE TO GOD.”
So then each one of us shall give account of himself to God.
Therefore let us not judge one another anymore, but rather determine this—not to put an obstacle or a stumbling block in a brother’s way. I know and am convinced in the Lord Jesus that nothing is unclean in itself; but to him who thinks anything to be unclean, to him it is unclean. For if because of food your brother is hurt, you are no longer walking according to love. Do not destroy with your food him for whom Christ died. Therefore do not let what is for you a good thing be spoken of as evil; for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. For he who in this way serves Christ is acceptable to God and approved by men. So then let us pursue the things which make for peace and the building up of one another. Do not tear down the work of God for the sake of food. All things indeed are clean, but they are evil for the man who eats and gives offense. It is good not to eat meat or to drink wine, or to do anything by which your brother stumbles. The faith which you have, have as your own conviction before God. Happy is he who does not condemn himself in what he approves. But he who doubts is condemned if he eats, because his eating is not from faith; and whatever is not from faith is sin.

Daaglikse Bybel vers Leerstelling jy mag enige iets waaroor jy gebid het eet

Ou Afrikaanse vertaaling 1953

Leerstelling jy mag enige iets waaroor jy gebid het eet

1 Timoteus 4:4

Want alles wat deur God geskape is, is goed, en niks is verwerplik as dit met danksegging ontvang word nie;

Leerstelling goedkeuring vers

Markus 7:18-19

Want daar is geskrywe: So waaragtig as Ek leef, sê die Here, voor My sal elke knie buig, en elke tong sal God bely.

Daily Bible verse Doctrine Repent accept jesus and Repent turn away from sin

New American Standard 1977

Doctrine verse A) You have to repent by accepting the sacrifice of Jesus Christ B) You have to turn away from sin

A)

Romans 10:8-10

But what does it say? “THE WORD IS NEAR YOU, in your mouth and in your heart”—that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved; for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.

B)

Revelation 2:4-5

But I have this against you, that you have left your first love. Remember therefore from where you have fallen, and repent and do the deeds you did at first; or else I am coming to you, and will remove your lampstand out of its place—unless you repent.

Doctrine confirmation verse

A)

2 Chronicles 7:14

and My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray, and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

B)

B)

2 Corinthians 7:9-10

I now rejoice, not that you were made sorrowful, but that you were made sorrowful to the point of repentance; for you were made sorrowful according to the will of God, in order that you might not suffer loss in anything through us. Come out to meet him.’ “Then all those virgins rose, and trimmed their lamps. “And the foolish said to the prudent, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ “But the prudent answered, saying, ‘No, there will not be enough for us and you too; go instead to the dealers and buy some for yourselves.’ “And while they were going away to make the purchase, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast; and the door was shut. “And later the other virgins also came, saying, ‘Lord, lord, open up for us.’ “But he answered and said, ‘Truly I say to you, I do not know you.’ “Be on the alert then, for you do not know the day nor the hour.

Daaglikse Bybel vers Leerstelling Aanvaar Jesus Christus as jou redder en Draai weg van sonde

Ou Afrikaanse vertaaling 1953

Leerstelling vers A) Aanvaar Jesus Christus as jou redder B) Draai weg van sonde

A)

Romeine 10:8-10

As jy met jou mond die Here Jesus bely en met jou hart glo dat God Hom uit die dode opgewek het, sal jy gered word;

Leerstelling goedkeuring vers

A)

2 Kronieke 7:14

2de Leerstelling goedkeuring vers

A)

Lukas 24:45-47

Addisionele inligting

A)

Matteus 4:17

A)

Lukas 5:31-32

B)

Jesaja 30:15

Want so sê die Here HERE, die Heilige van Israel: In terugkeer en rus lê julle heil, in stil wees en vertroue bestaan julle krag; maar julle wou nie

A)

2 Petrus 3:9

A)

Handelinge 2:38

B)

A)

Handelinge 3:18-19

B)

Lukas 17:3-4

Pas op vir julleself. En as jou broeder teen jou sondig, bestraf hom; en as hy berou kry, vergewe hom.

A)

Handelinge 11:18

A)

Handelinge 20:21

terwyl ek kragtig by die Jode sowel as die Grieke aangedring het op die bekering tot God en die geloof in onse Here Jesus Christus.

B)

Matteus 7:20-23

Gospel

Matthew 19:25-28
And when the disciples heard this, they were very astonished and said, “Then who can be saved?”
And looking upon them Jesus said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Then Peter answered and said to Him, “Behold, we have left everything and followed You; what then will there be for us?”
And Jesus said to them, “Truly I say to you, that you who have followed Me, in the regeneration when the Son of Man will sit on His glorious throne, you also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Luke 13:23-28
And someone said to Him, “Lord, are there just a few who are being saved?” And He said to them, “Strive to enter by the narrow door; for many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able. “Once the head of the house gets up and shuts the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock on the door, saying, ‘Lord, open up to us!’ then He will answer and say to you, ‘I do not know where you are from.’ “Then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets’; and He will say, ‘I tell you, I do not know where you are from; DEPART FROM ME, ALL YOU EVILDOERS.’ “There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth there when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but yourselves being cast out. 29“And they will come from east and west, and from north and south, and will recline at the table in the kingdom of God. 30“And behold, some are last who will be first and some are first who will be last.”

Psalms 62:2
My soul waits in silence for God only;

Mattheus 19:25-28

Bible verse of the day The ten commandment in the new testament

Bible verse of the day The ten commandment in the new testament
We are all sinners, and we must accept that we are, and repent, sins can only be washed away by the blood of Jesus Christ, but you have to repent of your sins in order for the blood to wash you clean daily and make you perfect before God. By the grace of God he send us his son so that we can live, yet many hides behind the grace of God to commit sin, and they would say once saved always saved, so that they may sin and remain part of this wicked world. Those whom preach these doctrines straight from the pits of hell will always say your doctrine is wrong, and quote selected verses from the bible to proof their point, just like the devil did during the 40days of temptation. Here are the verses in the new testament confirming that the 10 commandment should be followed, and are not just meant for the Jews as many claim.

The Gospel

John 14:15-17
“If you love Me, you will keep My commandments. And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever; that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not behold Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you, and will be in you.”

Matthew 4:10
Then Jesus said to him, “Begone, Satan! For it is written, ‘YOU SHALL WORSHIP THE LORD YOUR GOD, AND SERVE HIM ONLY.’”

Matthew 5:33-34
“Again, you have heard that the ancients were told, ‘YOU SHALL NOT MAKE FALSE VOWS, BUT SHALL FULFILL YOUR VOWS TO THE LORD.’ But I say to you, make no oath at all, either by heaven, for it is the throne of God,

And He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up; and as was His custom, He entered the synagogue on the Sabbath, and stood up to read.

Matthew 5:21-22
“You have heard that the ancients were told, ‘YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT MURDER’ and ‘Whoever commits murder shall be liable to the court.’
But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be guilty before the court; and whoever shall say to his brother, ‘Raca,’ shall be guilty before the supreme court; and whoever shall say, ‘You fool,’ shall be guilty enough to go into the fiery hell.

Matthew 5:27-28
“You have heard that it was said, ‘YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY’; but I say to you, that everyone who looks on a woman to lust for her has committed adultery with her already in his heart.

Matthew 19:17-19
And He said to him, “Why are you asking Me about what is good? There is only One who is good; but if you wish to enter into life, keep the commandments.”
He said to Him, “Which ones?” And Jesus said, “YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT MURDER; YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY; YOU SHALL NOT STEAL; YOU SHALL NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS; HONOR YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER; and YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.”

Mark 7:20-22
And He was saying, “That which proceeds out of the man, that is what defiles the man.
“For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed the evil thoughts, fornications, thefts, murders, adulteries, deeds of coveting and wickedness, as well as deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride and foolishness.

Apostle teachings and Revelations

1 John 5:2-3
By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and observe His commandments.
For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome.

Revelation 14:7
and he said with a loud voice, “Fear God, and give Him glory, because the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made the heaven and the earth and sea and springs of waters.

1 Thessalonians 1:9
For they themselves report about us what kind of a reception we had with you, and how you turned to God from idols to serve a living and true God,

Acts 13:14
But going on from Perga, they arrived at Pisidian Antioch, and on the Sabbath day they went into the synagogue and sat down.

2 Timothy 3:2-5
For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God; holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; and avoid such men as these.

Colossians 3:20
Children, be obedient to your parents in all things, for this is well-pleasing to the Lord.

1 John 3:15
Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer; and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.

Galatians 5:19-21
Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you just as I have forewarned you that those who practice such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

1 Corinthians 5:9-11
I wrote you in my letter not to associate with immoral people;
I did not at all mean with the immoral people of this world, or with the covetous and swindlers, or with idolaters; for then you would have to go out of the world.
But actually, I wrote to you not to associate with any so-called brother if he should be an immoral person, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or a swindler—not even to eat with such a one.

Romans 1:29-32
being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; they are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful; and, although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them.

Hebrews 13:4-6
Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled; for fornicators and adulterers God will judge.
Let your character be free from the love of money, being content with what you have; for He Himself has said, “I WILL NEVER DESERT YOU, NOR WILL I EVER FORSAKE YOU, so that we confidently say,
“THE LORD IS MY HELPER, I WILL NOT BE AFRAID.
WHAT SHALL MAN DO TO ME?”

The Gospel

Johannes 14:15-17
As julle My liefhet, bewaar my gebooie.

Matteus 4:10
Toe sê Jesus vir hom: Gaan weg, Satan! want daar is geskrywe: Die Here jou God moet jy aanbid en Hom alleen dien.

Matteus 5:33-34
Maar Ek sê vir julle: Sweer hoegenaamd nie–nie by die hemel nie, omdat dit die troon van God is;

Lukas 4:16

Matteus 19:17-19
En Hy sê vir hom: Waarom noem jy My goed?

Apostle teachings and Revelations

1 Johannes 5:2-3

Kolossense 3:20
Kinders, julle moet jul ouers in alles gehoorsaam wees, want dit is die Here welbehaaglik.

1 Johannes 3:15

Romeine 1:29-32
