Chapter 3

Children

1. Do not educate ye daughter under 12 nor ye son under 13 the way of the flesh, as it is none of their concern, as these teaching can corrupt that which belongs to God and point a nation towards the way of destruction as the condemned cities of Sodom and Gomorrah was burned to ashes, and made as an example. Did they not walk in the love of flesh, even seeking after the angles that were send by God almighty to save Lot form their fate?
2. Permit the children to come to the Lord, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it at all.
3. Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
4. Train up a your children to love the Lord their God with their whole heart and soul to love each other as they love themselves and to trust and believe in the perfect sacrifice of the Son of Man, as in the last days the love of many will grow cold and they will be lovers of themselves, do not let your children be counted among these.
5. Train up a your children to know that the Son of Man will return the same way as He left after that which has been spoken by the prophets has been fulfilled, after the time of great distress, as many will come and say that they are the Christ and will deceive many, do not let your children be counted among these.
6. Train up a your children to know that there will be earthquakes, rumours of wars, wars, famine, pestilence and persecution but the time is not yet as these are only the time of sorrows. Many will mock them and say, where is the promise of his coming as things are the same as it has been since the time of the prophets, but these who will remain in the Lord to the end shall be saved. Let your children be counted among these.
7. Train up a your children to pray for Jerusalem, because the Son of Man will rule the world from Jerusalem, and train up your children to pray that they may be found worthy to escape that which will come in the last days after the time of sorrows, so that they may be saved.
8. Discipline your children, for in that there is hope; do not be a willing party to their death. As your Father in heaven also punishes you, not to bring you in anger towards him, but to save your soul from everlasting damnation.
9. Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.
10. Children honour they mother and father and your life shall be extended.
