Matteus 19:17
En Hy sê vir hom: Waarom noem jy My goed?

Understanding the writings of Paul
Romans 7:1-13
1 Or do you not know, brethren (for I am speaking to those who know the law), that the law has jurisdiction over a person as long as he lives?
2 For the married woman is bound by law to her husband while he is living; but if her husband dies, she is released from the law concerning the husband.
3 So then if, while her husband is living, she is joined to another man, she shall be called an adulteress; but if her husband dies, she is free from the law, so that she is not an adulteress, though she is joined to another man.
4 Therefore, my brethren, you also were made to die to the Law through the body of Christ, that you might be joined to another, to Him who was raised from the dead, that we might bear fruit for God.
5 For while we were in the flesh, the sinful passions, which were aroused by the Law, were at work in the members of our body to bear fruit for death.
6 But now we have been released from the Law, having died to that by which we were bound, so that we serve in newness of the Spirit and not in oldness of the letter.
7 What shall we say then? Is the Law sin? May it never be! On the contrary, I would not have come to know sin except through the Law; for I would not have known about coveting if the Law had not said, “YOU SHALL NOT COVET.”
8 But sin, taking opportunity through the commandment, produced in me coveting of every kind; for apart from the Law sin is dead.
9 And I was once alive apart from the Law; but when the commandment came, sin became alive, and I died;
10 and this commandment, which was to result in life, proved to result in death for me;
11 for sin, taking opportunity through the commandment, deceived me, and through it killed me.
12 So then, the Law is holy, and the commandment is holy and righteous and good.
13 Therefore did that which is good become a cause of death for me? May it never be! Rather it was sin, in order that it might be shown to be sin by effecting my death through that which is good, that through the commandment sin might become utterly sinful.
Explanation
1-3 The law applies to the flesh.
4 Christs death and resurrection releases us from sin if we believe in him.
5 The flesh has a sinful nature, that is why the Commandments of Jesus Christ applies to the flesh.
6 Through Christ our spirit is released from sin. No sacrifice is needed, just the blood of Christ.
7-11 The Commandments of Jesus Christ tells us what is sin and what is not, sin leads death, but though Christ we have life.
12 So then, the Law is holy, and the commandment is holy and righteous and good.
13 The Comments of Jesus Christ is not sin and does not condemn us but shows us what is sin.
Summary
It is though the commandments that we learn what is sin, ones you know that you are a sinner, you can seek forgiveness and this can only be obtained through the sacrifice and resurrection of Jesus Christ, which saves the soul not the flesh because the flesh has a sinful nature. “So then, the Law is holy, and the commandment is holy and righteous and good.”
Commentary
Throughout the bible we are taught to follow the Commands of God and that we show our love towards God by keeping the 10 Commandments, however there are false teachers who twists the teachings of Paul to convince the followers of the Lord that we do not have to follow the Commandments, ignoring that Paul says “So then, the Law is holy, and the commandment is holy and righteous and good”, this phrase is the summary of Romans 7:1-13. It is though the commandments that we learn what is sin, ones you know that you are a sinner, you can seek forgiveness and this can only be obtained through the sacrifice and resurrection of Jesus Christ, which saves the soul not the flesh because the flesh has a sinful nature.
False teachers whom twist the words of Paul also say that the teachings of Paul is different, because he is the only teacher to the gentiles and the commandments do not apply to the gentiles, this is a flat out lie:
Peter – Turkey, Italy (gentiles) Crucified upside down Rome Italy
Andrew – Russia, Turkey and Greece (gentiles) Crucified in Greece
Thomas – Iran, Afghanistan, India (gentiles) Speared in India
Philip – North Africa and Turkey (gentiles) Cruelly put to death in Turkey
Matthew – Iran and Ethiopia (gentiles) Stabbed in Ethiopia
Bartholomew – India, Armenia, Ethiopia, Southern Arabia and Albania (gentiles) Beaten and crucified in Albania
James son of Alpheus – Spain Killed in spain.
James brother of Jesus – Syria, Jerusalem Killed by Herod
Simon the Zealot – Jerusalem, Iran, Mauritania and England (gentiles) Crucified in England
Matthais – Syria Burned alive in Syria
John – Turkey (Gentiles) Died of old age after he saw heaven and wrote the book of Revelations.
Matthew 28:18-20 – And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
Paul also never said you should not speak in tongues, he said do not speak in tongues if there is no one with the gift of interpretation. Paul made this rule because the church was a madhouse with everyone speaking out of turn and noone growing in the knowlague of the Lord because of it. He did not say spiritual gifts are of satan as many would like to claim.
1 Corinthians 14:39-40 written by Paul
Therefore, my brethren, desire earnestly to prophesy, and do not forbid to speak in tongues.
But let all things be done properly and in an orderly manner.
1 Corinthians 14:27-28 written by Paul
If anyone speaks in a tongue, it should be by two or at the most three, and each in turn, and let one interpret;
but if there is no interpreter, let him keep silent in the church; and let him speak to himself and to God.
Paul made a similar rule saying woman should no speak in church for the same reason, the woman in the church was speaking out of turn, causing a madhouse and noone growing in the knowlague of the Lord because of it. He did not say woman my not be preachers like many would like to claim.
1 Corinthians 14:33-34 written by Paul
for God is not a God of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.
Let the women keep silent in the churches; for they are not permitted to speak, but let them subject themselves, just as the Law also says.
