The commandments of Christ Summary

1) You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.
Law definition: God must be first in your life, before your wife, children, work and everything else.
2) Thou shall love your neighbor as yourself.
Law definition: Before you do something you must ask yourself two questions: Would you like this to be done to you, and would you like this to be done to the person you love the most, if the answer is no to any of these questions then you are about to break the second commandment. Example: Would you have liked to have been aborted before birth or would you have liked the person you care for the most was aborted? If the answer is no to any of those two questions then abortion is a sin.
Law spiritual definition: Jesus took the sins of the world upon him.
3) Thou shalt do no murder.
Law definition: If you take a life outside of self defence or righteous war is murder.
Law spiritual definition: God lets the sun shine on the righteous and the sinner, God lets it rain on the righteous and sinners.
4) Thou shalt not hold a grudge.
Law definition: Do not stay angry at others but forgive them. and God shall forgive you in the same manner.
Law spiritual definition: God shall forgive you in the same manner, you forgive others
5) Thou shalt not commit adultery.
Law definition: Adultery against humans: Biblically sex is marriage. Every Time you have sex with a different person you commit Adultery against the person you had sex with before hand. Whether the law of man says you are married or not married does not matter, because once you have had sex with someone you are joined together and no man may separate you.
Law definition: Adultery against creation: God made a human man for a human female, any sex beyond this or mixing of seed beyond this is adultery against creation.
Law spiritual definition: Adultery against God: Trusting in other gods, spirits, humans, stars, forefathers or anything else instead of God is adultery against God. Trusting that God would give someone the strength and/or knowledge to help you is not adultery against God because you trust that God is helping them to help you.
6) Thou shalt not divorce or take someone whom has separated thou any other means other then death or if they commited adultary.
Law definition: Biblically speaking divorce and separation by any means other then death or from someone whom committed Adultery is Adultery: If you change sexual partners or deny your sexual partner sex you are committing Adultery against your partner. However if your sexual partner has died or has committed Adultery, then you are not committing adultery by leaving them nor are you committing adultery if you have sex with a person whose partner died or whom left there partner because they committed adultery.
Law spiritual definition: Biblically speaking divorce and separation but any means other than death or from someone who committed Adultery is Adultery: If you do not pray daily you are committing adultery against God. Therefore God may separate himself from you if He chose to do so, but God forgives as you forgive others and His Son has taken your sins upon Himself, therefore if you repent God will return to you. Repent means you turn away from sin, in this case you start to pray daily.
7) Thou shalt not lust.
Law definition: Biblically speaking lust is Adultery: If you had sex with someone and see someone else and just imagine or think or consider having sex with that person you are committing Adultery against the person you had sex with before.
Law spiritual definition: Biblically speaking lust is Adultery: If you imagine or think or consider worshipping or seeking help from someone or something other than God you are committing adultery against God. Unless God has send that person or something to help you.
8) Thou shalt not steal.
Law definition: Do not take something that belongs to someone else, Do not have sex with someone whom belongs to someone else, Do not deny a starving person food when you have enough, as this is stealing someone’s life.
Law spiritual definition: What you do to christians you also do unto christ.
9) Thou shalt not bear false witness.
Law definition: Do not lie, do not spread false rumours, do not tell untruthful things.
Law spiritual definition: Do not teach others not to follow the commandments of christ, because then you are spreading false rumours, Do not say you have a message from God, if you did not hear from God, Atment you are a sinner and believe that only the sacrifice of Jesus Christ can save you, if you do not atment you are a sinner then you are bearing false witness in other words you are a liar.
10) Honour thy father and thy mother.
Law definition: Listen to your parents, care for your parents in their old age, do not have sex with your mother nor father, do not dishonor your parents by sinning.
Law spiritual definition: God is your heavenly father listen to him and follow his commandments.
11) Do not swear unto God.
Law definition: Do not make promises to God, you are only a servant whom has nothing to offer because all belongs to God.
Law spiritual definition: Jesus is king of kings and master of all. God created all that is and He is in control.
12) Love they enemies
Law definition: Do not reward sin by committing sin yourself.
Law spiritual definition: You are the light of the world, though you sinners will see God. As it is Gods will that all maybe saved.
