Book of Enoch Chapter 10

The book of Enoch Chapter 10 God announces the great flood great tribulation God’s wrath and years of peace

1 Then the Most High, the Great and Holy One spoke,

2 And sent Arsayalalyur to the son of Lamech,

3 Saying, Say to him in My name, Conceal yourself.

4 Then explain to him the consummation which is about to take place; for all the earth shall perish; the waters of a deluge shall come over the whole earth, and all things which are in it shall be destroyed.

5 And now teach him how he may escape, and how his seed may remain in all the earth.

6 The Lord said to Raphael, Bind Azazyel hand and foot; cast him into darkness; open the desert which is in Dudael, cast him in there.

7 Throw upon him hurled and pointed stones, covering him with darkness;

8 There shall he remain until a appointed time; cover his face, that he may not see the light.

9 And in the great day of judgment let him be cast into the fire.

10 Restore the earth, which the angels have corrupted; and announce life to it, that I may revive it.

11 All the sons of men shall not perish in consequence of every secret taught by the Watchers neither shall they perish by the hand of the offspring of the Watchers.

12 All the earth has been corrupted by the effects of the teaching of Azazyel. To him therefore ascribe the whole crime.

13 To Gabriel also the Lord said, Go to the biters, to the reprobates, to the children of fornication; and destroy the children of fornication, the offspring of the Watchers, from among men; bring them forth, and excite them one against another. Let them perish by mutual slaughter; for length of days shall not be theirs.

14 They shall all entreat you, but their fathers shall not obtain their wishes respecting them; for they shall hope for eternal life, and that they may live, each of them, five hundred years.

15 To Michael likewise the Lord said, Go and announce his crime to Samyaza, and to the others who are with him, who have been associated with women, that they might be polluted with all their impurity. And when all their sons shall be slain, when they shall see the damnation of their beloved, bind them underneath the earth for 70 generations, even to the day of judgment, and of consummation, until the judgment, the effect of which will last forever, be completed.

16 Then shall they be taken away into the lowest depths of the fire in torments; and in confinement shall they be shut up for ever.

17 Immediately after this shall the morning star the wise guardian cherub, together with them, burn and perish; they shall be bound forever.

18 Destroy all those addicted to random sex, and the offspring of the Watchers, for they have brought tyrannized over mankind.

19 Let every oppressor perish from the face of the earth;

20 Let every evil work be destroyed;

21 Let the olive tree of righteousness and of virtue appear, and its produce become a blessing to the nations of the world and thou them the nations shall be saved.

22 Righteousness and rectitude shall be for ever planted with delight.

23 And then shall all the saints give thanks, and live until they have begotten a thousand children, while the whole period of their youth, and their sabbaths shall be completed in peace. In those days after the great tribulation and great judgement all the earth shall be cultivated in righteousness; it shall be wholly planted with trees, and filled with utterings of blessing; every tree of delight shall be planted in it.

24 In it shall vines be planted; and the vine which shall be planted in it shall yield fruit to satisfaction; every seed, which shall be sown in it, shall produce for one measure a thousand; and one measure of olives shall produce ten presses of oil.

25 The earth shall be purified from all oppression, from all injustice, from all crime, from all impiety, and from all the pollution which is committed upon it. Exterminate them from the earth.

26 Then shall all the children of men be righteous, and all nations shall pay Me divine honours, and bless Me; and all shall adore Me.

27 The earth shall be cleansed from all corruption, from every crime, from all punishment, and from all suffering; neither will I again send a deluge upon it from generation to generation for ever.

28 In those days, after the great tribulation and great judgement, I will open the treasures of blessing which are in heaven, that I may cause them to descend upon earth, and upon all the works and labour of man.

29 At the appointed time peace and equity shall be associate with the sons of men all the days of the new world, in every generation of it.

Book of Enoch Chapter 7

The book of Enoch Chapter 7 Birth of the Nephilim

1 It happened after the sons of men had multiplied in those days, daughters were born to them, elegant and beautiful.

2 And when the fallen, the sons of heaven, beheld them, they became enamoured of them, saying to each other, Come, let us select for ourselves wives from the progeny of men, and let us beget children.

3 Then their leader Samyaza, also called Lucifer or Uranus or Amun or Nergal or the light bringer by sinners, said to them; I fear that you may perhaps be indisposed to the performance of this enterprise;

4 And that I alone shall suffer for so grievous a crime.

5 But they answered him and said; We all swear;

6 And bind ourselves by mutual agreement to the curse uttered, that we will not change our intention, but execute our projected undertaking.

7 Then they swore all together, and all bound themselves by mutual execrations. Their whole number was two hundred, who descended upon Ardis, which is the top of mount Armon.

8 That mountain therefore was called Armon, because they had sworn upon it, and bound themselves by mutual execrations.

9 These are the names of their chiefs: Samyaza, who was their leader, Urakabarameel, Akibeel, Tamiel, Ramuel, Danel, Azkeel, Saraknyal, Asael, Armers, Batraal, Anane, Zavebe, Samsaveel, Ertael, Turel, Yomyael, Arazyal. These were those who held authority over the two hundred fallen, and the remainder were all with them.

10 Then they took wives, each choosing for himself; whom they began to approach, and with whom they cohabited; teaching them sorcery, incantations, and the dividing of roots and trees.

11 And the women conceiving brought forth giants,

12 Whose stature was each three hundred cubits. These devoured all which the labor of men produced; until it became impossible to feed them;

13 Then they turned themselves against men, in order to devour them;

14 And began to injure birds, beasts, reptiles, and fishes, to eat their flesh one after another, and to drink their blood.

15 Then the earth reproved the unrighteous.

Book of Enoch Chapter 6

The book of Enoch Chapter 6 The fallen

1 They consider how the trees, when they put forth their green leaves, become covered, and produce fruit; understanding everything, and knowing that God did this for man.

2 That the works at the beginning of every existing year, that all God’s works, are subservient to God, and invariable; as God has appointed it to be so and brought all things brought to pass for His glory.

3 They see, too, how the seas and the rivers together complete their respective operations:

4 But the fallen endure not patiently, nor fulfill the commandments of the Lord; but the fallen transgress and make defamatory statements against God’s greatness; and evil in nature are the words in the fallen’s, polluted mouths against God’s Majesty.

5 You withered in heart, no peace shall be to the fallen!

6 Therefore your days shall you curse, and the years of your lives shall perish; your never ending curse shall be multiplied, and you shall not obtain mercy.

7 In those days shall you resign your peace with the eternal curse for what you have done to all the righteous, and sinners shall denounce you;

8 You shall be denounce with the ungodly.

9 The elect shall possess light, joy, and peace; and the meek shall inherit the earth.

10 But you, the fallen, shall be accursed.

11 Then shall wisdom be given to the elect, all of whom shall live, and not again transgress by impiety or pride; but shall humble themselves, possessing prudence, and shall not repeat transgression, but repent.

12 They shall not be condemned the whole period of their lives, not die in torment and indignation; but the sum of their days shall be completed, and they shall grow old in peace; while the years of their happiness shall be multiplied with joy, and with peace, for ever, the whole duration of their eternal existence.

The book of Enoch Chapter 5 Watchers observing summer

1 Again they consider the days of summer, that the sun is upon it at its very beginning; while you seek for a covered and shady spot on account of the burning sun; while the earth is scorched up with fervid heat, and you become incapable of walking either upon the ground or upon the rocks in consequence of that heat.

Book of Enoch Chapter 1

The book of Enoch Chapter 1 God in the Later days

1 The word of the blessing of Enoch, how he blessed the elect and the righteous, who were to exist in the time of trouble; rejecting all the wicked and ungodly. Enoch, a righteous man, who was with God, answered and spoke, while his eyes were open, and while he saw a holy vision in the heavens. This the angels showed me.

2 From them I heard all things, and understood what I saw; that which will not take place in this generation, but in a generation which is to succeed at a distant period, on account of the elect.

3 Upon their account I spoke and conversed with him, who will go forth from his habitation, the Holy and Mighty One, the God of the world:

4 Who will hereafter tread upon Mount Sinai; appear with his hosts; and be manifested in the strength of his power from heaven.

5 All shall be afraid, and the Watchers be terrified.

6 Great fear and trembling shall seize them, even to the ends of the earth. The lofty mountains shall be troubled, and the exalted hills depressed, melting like a honeycomb in the flame. The earth shall be immerged, and all things which are in it perish; while judgment shall come upon all, even upon all the righteous:

7 But to them shall he give peace: he shall preserve the elect, and towards them exercise clemency.

8 Then shall all belong to God; be happy and blessed; and the splendour of the Godhead shall illuminate them.

Psalm 119
Your Word is a Lamp to My Feet

א
ALEPH.

1 Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD.
Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.
They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.
Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently.
O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!
Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments.
I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments.
I will keep thy statutes: O forsake me not utterly.

ב
BETH.

2 Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.
With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.
Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
Blessed art thou, O LORD: teach me thy statutes.
With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth.
I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches.
I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.
I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.

ג
GIMEL.

3 Deal bountifully with thy servant, that I may live, and keep thy word.
Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.
I am a stranger in the earth: hide not thy commandments from me.
My soul breaketh for the longing that it hath unto thy judgments at all times.
Thou hast rebuked the proud that are cursed, which do err from thy commandments.
Remove from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept thy testimonies.
Princes also did sit and speak against me: but thy servant did meditate in thy statutes.
Thy testimonies also are my delight and my counsellers.

ד
DALETH.

4 My soul cleaveth unto the dust: quicken thou me according to thy word.
I have declared my ways, and thou heardest me: teach me thy statutes.
Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: so shall I talk of thy wondrous works.
My soul melteth for heaviness: strengthen thou me according unto thy word.
Remove from me the way of lying: and grant me thy law graciously.
I have chosen the way of truth: thy judgments have I laid before me.
I have stuck unto thy testimonies: O LORD, put me not to shame.
I will run the way of thy commandments, when thou shalt enlarge my heart.

ה
HE.

5 Teach me, O LORD, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it unto the end.
Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart.
Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight.
Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not to covetousness.
Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity; and quicken thou me in thy way.
Stablish thy word unto thy servant, who is devoted to thy fear.
Turn away my reproach which I fear: for thy judgments are good.
Behold, I have longed after thy precepts: quicken me in thy righteousness.

ו
VAU.

6 Let thy mercies come also unto me, O LORD, even thy salvation, according to thy word.
So shall I have wherewith to answer him that reproacheth me: for I trust in thy word.
And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I have hoped in thy judgments.
So shall I keep thy law continually for ever and ever.
And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts.
I will speak of thy testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed.
And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved.
My hands also will I lift up unto thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in thy statutes.

ז
ZAIN.

7 Remember the word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope.
This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me.
The proud have had me greatly in derision: yet have I not declined from thy law.
I remembered thy judgments of old, O LORD; and have comforted myself.
Horror hath taken hold upon me because of the wicked that forsake thy law.
Thy statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage.
I have remembered thy name, O LORD, in the night, and have kept thy law.
This I had, because I kept thy precepts.

ח
HETH.

8 Thou art my portion, O LORD: I have said that I would keep thy words.
I intreated thy favour with my whole heart: be merciful unto me according to thy word.
I thought on my ways, and turned my feet unto thy testimonies.
I made haste, and delayed not to keep thy commandments.
The bands of the wicked have robbed me: but I have not forgotten thy law.
At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto thee because of thy righteous judgments.
I am a companion of all them that fear thee, and of them that keep thy precepts.
The earth, O LORD, is full of thy mercy: teach me thy statutes.

ט
TETH.

9 Thou hast dealt well with thy servant, O LORD, according unto thy word.
Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandments.
Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.
Thou art good, and doest good; teach me thy statutes.
The proud have forged a lie against me: but I will keep thy precepts with my whole heart.
Their heart is as fat as grease; but I delight in thy law.
It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.
The law of thy mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver.

י
IOD.

10 Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.
They that fear thee will be glad when they see me; because I have hoped in thy word.
I know, O LORD, that thy judgments are right, and that thou in faithfulness hast afflicted me.
Let, I pray thee, thy merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to thy word unto thy servant.
Let thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live: for thy law is my delight.
Let the proud be ashamed; for they dealt perversely with me without a cause: but I will meditate in thy precepts.
Let those that fear thee turn unto me, and those that have known thy testimonies.
Let my heart be sound in thy statutes; that I be not ashamed.

כ
CAPH.

11 My soul fainteth for thy salvation: but I hope in thy word.
Mine eyes fail for thy word, saying, When wilt thou comfort me?
For I am become like a bottle in the smoke; yet do I not forget thy statutes.
How many are the days of thy servant? when wilt thou execute judgment on them that persecute me?
The proud have digged pits for me, which are not after thy law.
All thy commandments are faithful: they persecute me wrongfully; help thou me.
They had almost consumed me upon earth; but I forsook not thy precepts.
Quicken me after thy lovingkindness; so shall I keep the testimony of thy mouth.

ל
LAMED.

12 For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.
Thy faithfulness is unto all generations: thou hast established the earth, and it abideth.
They continue this day according to thine ordinances: for all are thy servants.
Unless thy law had been my delights, I should then have perished in mine affliction.
I will never forget thy precepts: for with them thou hast quickened me.
I am thine, save me; for I have sought thy precepts.
The wicked have waited for me to destroy me: but I will consider thy testimonies.
I have seen an end of all perfection: but thy commandment is exceeding broad.

מ
MEM.

13 O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day.
Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me.
I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation.
I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts.
I have refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep thy word.
I have not departed from thy judgments: for thou hast taught me.
How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!
Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.

נ
NUN.

14 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
I have sworn, and I will perform it, that I will keep thy righteous judgments.
I am afflicted very much: quicken me, O LORD, according unto thy word.
Accept, I beseech thee, the freewill offerings of my mouth, O LORD, and teach me thy judgments.
My soul is continually in my hand: yet do I not forget thy law.
The wicked have laid a snare for me: yet I erred not from thy precepts.
Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart.
I have inclined mine heart to perform thy statutes alway, even unto the end.

ס
SAMECH.

15 I hate vain thoughts: but thy law do I love.
Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word.
Depart from me, ye evildoers: for I will keep the commandments of my God.
Uphold me according unto thy word, that I may live: and let me not be ashamed of my hope.
Hold thou me up, and I shall be safe: and I will have respect unto thy statutes continually.
Thou hast trodden down all them that err from thy statutes: for their deceit is falsehood.
Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth like dross: therefore I love thy testimonies.
My flesh trembleth for fear of thee; and I am afraid of thy judgments.

ע
AIN.

16 I have done judgment and justice: leave me not to mine oppressors.
Be surety for thy servant for good: let not the proud oppress me.
Mine eyes fail for thy salvation, and for the word of thy righteousness.
Deal with thy servant according unto thy mercy, and teach me thy statutes.
I am thy servant; give me understanding, that I may know thy testimonies.
It is time for thee, LORD, to work: for they have made void thy law.
Therefore I love thy commandments above gold; yea, above fine gold.
Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way.

פ
PE.

17 Thy testimonies are wonderful: therefore doth my soul keep them.
The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.
I opened my mouth, and panted: for I longed for thy commandments.
Look thou upon me, and be merciful unto me, as thou usest to do unto those that love thy name.
Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.
Deliver me from the oppression of man: so will I keep thy precepts.
Make thy face to shine upon thy servant; and teach me thy statutes.
Rivers of waters run down mine eyes, because they keep not thy law.

צ
TZADE.

18 Righteous art thou, O LORD, and upright are thy judgments.
Thy testimonies that thou hast commanded are righteous and very faithful.
My zeal hath consumed me, because mine enemies have forgotten thy words.
Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it.
I am small and despised: yet do not I forget thy precepts.
Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth.
Trouble and anguish have taken hold on me: yet thy commandments are my delights.
The righteousness of thy testimonies is everlasting: give me understanding, and I shall live.

ק
KOPH.

19 I cried with my whole heart; hear me, O LORD: I will keep thy statutes.
I cried unto thee; save me, and I shall keep thy testimonies.
I prevented the dawning of the morning, and cried: I hoped in thy word.
Mine eyes prevent the night watches, that I might meditate in thy word.
Hear my voice according unto thy lovingkindness: O LORD, quicken me according to thy judgment.
They draw nigh that follow after mischief: they are far from thy law.
Thou art near, O LORD; and all thy commandments are truth.
Concerning thy testimonies, I have known of old that thou hast founded them for ever.

ר
RESH.

20 Consider mine affliction, and deliver me: for I do not forget thy law.
Plead my cause, and deliver me: quicken me according to thy word.
Salvation is far from the wicked: for they seek not thy statutes.
Great are thy tender mercies, O LORD: quicken me according to thy judgments.
Many are my persecutors and mine enemies; yet do I not decline from thy testimonies.
I beheld the transgressors, and was grieved; because they kept not thy word.
Consider how I love thy precepts: quicken me, O LORD, according to thy lovingkindness.
Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.

ש
SHIN.

21 Princes have persecuted me without a cause: but my heart standeth in awe of thy word.
I rejoice at thy word, as one that findeth great spoil.
I hate and abhor lying: but thy law do I love.
Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgments.
Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.
LORD, I have hoped for thy salvation, and done thy commandments.
My soul hath kept thy testimonies; and I love them exceedingly.
I have kept thy precepts and thy testimonies: for all my ways are before thee.

ת
TAU.

22 Let my cry come near before thee, O LORD: give me understanding according to thy word.
Let my supplication come before thee: deliver me according to thy word.
My lips shall utter praise, when thou hast taught me thy statutes.
My tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy commandments are righteousness.
Let thine hand help me; for I have chosen thy precepts.
I have longed for thy salvation, O LORD; and thy law is my delight.
Let my soul live, and it shall praise thee; and let thy judgments help me.
I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I do not forget thy commandments.

Chapter 1
The Apocalypse of Ezra Chapter 1 Prophecy concerning the coming church of Christ

  1. The second book of the prophet Ezra, the son of Saraias, the son of Azarias, the son of Helchias, the son of Sadamias, the sou of Sadoc, the son of Achitob,
  2. The son of Achias, the son of Phinees, the son of Heli, the son of Amarias, the son of Aziei, the son of Marimoth, the son of And he spake unto the of Borith, the son of Abisei, the son of Phinees, the son of Eleazar,
  3. The son of Aaron, of the tribe of Levi; which was captive in the land of the Medes, in the reign of Artexerxes king of the Persians.
  4. And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
  5. Go thy way, and show my people their sinful deeds, and their children their wickedness which they have done against me; that they may tell their children’s children:
  6. Because the sins of their fathers are increased in them: for they have forgotten me, and have offered unto strange gods.
  7. Am not I even he that brought them out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage? but they have provoked me unto wrath, and despised my counsels.
  8. Pull your hair from your head, and cast all evil upon them, for they have not been obedient unto my law, but is a rebellious people.
  9. How long shall I tolerate them, unto whom I have done so much good?
  10. Many kings have I destroyed for their sakes; Pharaoh with his servants and all his power have I smitten down.
  11. All the nations have I destroyed before them, and in the east I have scattered the people of two provinces, even of Tyrus and Sidon, and have slain all their enemies.
  12. Speak therefore unto them, saying, This says the Lord,
  13. I led you through the sea and in the beginning gave you a large and safe passage; I gave you Moses for a leader, and Aaron for a priest.
  14. I gave you light in a pillar of fire, and great wonders have I done among you; yet have ye forgotten me, says the Lord
  15. This says the Almighty Lord, The quails were as a token to you; I gave you tents for your safeguard: nevertheless you murmured there,
  16. And triumphed not in my name for the destruction of your enemies, but ever to this day do you still mutter.
  17. Where are the benefits that I have done for you? when you were hungry and thirsty in the wilderness, did you not cry unto me,
  18. Saying, Why have you brought us into this wilderness to kill us? it had been better for us to have served the Egyptians, than to die in this wilderness.
  19. I took pity upon you, and gave you manna to eat; so you did eat angels’ bread.
  20. When you were thirsty, did I not open a rock, and waters flowed out to your fill? for the heat I covered you with the leaves of the trees.
  21. I divided among you a fruitful land, I cast out the Canaanites, the Pherezites, and the Philistines, before you: what shall I do more for you? says the Lord.
  22. This says the Almighty Lord, When you were in the wilderness, in the river of the Amorites, being athirst, and blaspheming my name,
  23. I gave you not fire for your blasphemies, but cast a tree in the water, and made the river sweet.
  24. What shall I do unto you, O Jacob? you, Juda, do not obey me: I will turn me to other nations, and unto those will I give my name, that they may keep my statutes.
  25. Since you have forsaken me, I will forsake you also; when you desire me to be gracious unto you, I shall have no mercy upon you.
  26. When shall you call upon me, I will not hear you: for you have defiled your hands with blood, and your feet are swift to commit manslaughter
  27. You have not as it were forsaken me, but your own selves, says the Lord.
  28. This says the Almighty Lord, Have I not treated you as a father his sons, as a mother her daughters, and a nurse her young babes,
  29. That you would be my people, and I should be your God; that you would be my children, and I should be your father?
  30. I gathered you together, as a hen gather her chickens under her wings: but now, what shall I do unto you? I will cast you out from my face.
  31. When you offer unto me, I will turn my face from you: for your solemn feast days, your new moons, and your circumcisions, have I forsaken.
  32. I sent unto you my servants the prophets, whom you have taken and slain, and torn their bodies in pieces, whose blood I will require of your hands, says the Lord.
  33. This says the Almighty Lord, Your house is desolate, I will cast you out as the wind blows the dust.
  34. And your children shall not be fruitful; for they have despised my commandment, and done the thing that is an evil before me.
  35. Your houses will I give to a people that shall come; which not having heard of me yet shall believe me; to whom I have shown no signs, yet they shall do that I have commanded them.
  36. They have seen no prophets, yet they shall call their sins to remembrance, and acknowledge them.
  37. I take to witness the grace of the people to come, whose little ones rejoice in gladness: and though they have not seen me with bodily eyes, yet in spirit they believe the thing that I say.
  38. And now, brother, behold what glory; and see the people that come from the east:
  39. Unto whom I will give for leaders, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Oseas, Amos, Micheas, Joel, Abdias, Jonas,
  40. Nahum, Abacuc, Sophonias, Aggeus, Zachary, and my messenger, which is called also an angel of the Lord.
  41. But remember this as 70 weeks was appointed as foretold by Daniel. Embrace your children until I come and show mercy unto them: for my wells run over, and my grace shall not fail. Mother, embrace your children, and bring them up with gladness, make their feet as fast as a pillar: for I have chosen you, says the Lord. And those that is dead, I will rise up again from their places, and bring them out of the graves: for I have known my name in Israel. Know your saviour. For my covenant with Abraham is everlasting.

The Apocalypse of Ezra Chapter 6 Creation Times and Leviathan and Behemoth

  1. And he said unto me, In the beginning, when the EARTH was made, before the borders of the world stood, or ever the winds blew,
  2. Before it thundered and lightened, or even the foundations of EDEN were laid,
  3. Before the fair flowers were seen, or ever the moveable powers were established, before the innumerable multitude of angels were gathered together,
  4. Or ever the heights of the air were lifted up, before the measures of the firmament were named, or ever the chimneys in Sion were hot,
  5. And here the present years were sought out, and or ever the inventions of them that now sin were turned, before they were sealed that have gathered faith for a treasure heaven:
  6. Then did I consider these things, and they all were made through ME, the GOD of Abraham Isaac and Jacob alone, and through none other: by ME, the GOD of Abraham Isaac and Jacob, also they shall be ended, and by none other.
  7. Then answered I and said, What shall be the parting of the times or when shall be the end of the first, and the beginning of the next?
  8. And He said unto me, From Abraham unto Isaac, when Jacob and Esau were born of him, Jacob’s hand held first the heel of Esau.
  9. For Esau is the end of the world, and Jacob is the beginning of the next.
  10. The hand of man is between the heel and the hand: Do you Ezra have another question?
  11. I answered then and said, O Lord which is ruling, if I have found favour in Your sight,
  12. I ask thee, show your servant the end of Thy tokens, whereof thou showed me in part before.
  13. So He answered and said unto me, Stand up, and hear a mighty sounding voice.
  14. And it shall be as it were a great motion; but the place where you are standing shall not be moved.
  15. And therefore when it speaks be not afraid: for the word is of the end, and the foundation of the earth is understood.
  16. And why? because the speech of these things trouble creation and it is moved: for it knows that the end of these things must be changed.
  17. And it happened, that when I had heard it I stood up upon my feet, and listened, and, behold, there was a voice that spoke, and the sound of it was like the sound of many waters.
  18. And it said, Behold, the days come, that I will begin to draw close, and to visit them that dwell upon the earth,
  19. And will begin to make inquisition of them, what they be that have hurt unjustly with their unrighteousness, and when the affliction of Sion shall be fulfilled;
  20. And when the world, that shall begin to vanish away, shall be finished, then will I show these tokens: the books shall be opened before the firmament, and they shall see all together:
  21. And the children of a year old shall speak with their voices, the women with child shall bring forth untimely children of three or four months old, and they shall live, and be raised up.
  22. And suddenly shall the sown places appear unsown, the full storehouses shall suddenly be found empty:
  23. And the trumpet shall give a sound, which when every man shall hear, they shall be suddenly afraid.
  24. At that time shall friends fight one against another like enemies, and the earth shall stand in fear with those that dwell therein, the springs of the fountains shall stand still, and in three hours they shall not run.
  25. Whosoever remains from all these that I have told thee shall escape, and see my salvation, and the end of your world.
  26. And the men that are received shall see it, who have not tasted death from their birth: and the heart of the inhabitants shall be changed, and turned into another meaning.
  27. For evil shall be put out, and deceit shall disappear.
  28. As for faith, it shall flourish, corruption shall be overcome, and the truth, which has been so long without fruit, shall be declared.
  29. And when he talked with me, behold, I looked by little and little upon him before whom I stood.
  30. And these words said he unto me; I am, has come to show you the time of the night to come.
  31. Pray, and fast seven days again, then I shall tell you greater things by day then you have heard.
  32. For your voice is heard before the most High: for the Mighty have seen your righteous dealing, I have seen your obedience and commitment to Me, which you have shown ever since your youth.
  33. And therefore I have shown you all these things, and to say unto you, be of good comfort and fear not
  34. And do not forget the times that are past, to think vain things, so that you may understand the latter times.
  35. And it came to pass after this, that I wept again, and fasted seven days in like manner, that I might fulfil the three weeks which he told me.
  36. And in the eighth night was my heart vexed within me again, and I began to speak before the most High.
  37. For my spirit was greatly set on fire, and my soul was in distress.
  38. And I said, O Lord, You spoke from the beginning of the creation, even the first day, and said so; Let heaven and earth be made; and Your word was a perfect work.
  39. And then was the spirit, and darkness and silence were on every side; the sound of man’s voice was not yet formed.
  40. Then You commanded a fair light to come forth, that Your work might appear.
  41. Upon the first day You made the firmament, and commanded it to divide, to make a division between the waters, that the one part might go up, and the other remain beneath.
  42. Upon the second day You command that the waters should be gathered in the seventh part of the earth: six parts dried up, and kept them, to the intent that some of these may be planted and tilled, so that it will serve You the GOD of Abraham Isaac and Jacob.
  43. For as soon as Your word went forth the work was made.
  44. For immediately there was great and innumerable fruit, and many and divers pleasures for the taste, and flowers of unchangeable colour, and odours of wonderful smell: and this was done.
  45. Upon the third day You commanded that the sun should shine, and the moon give her light, and the stars should be in order:
  46. And gave them a charge to do service unto man, which was to be made.
  47. Upon the fourth day You said unto the seventh part, where the waters were gathered that it should bring forth living creatures, fowls and fishes: and so it came to pass.
  48. Form the water which was without life, life was brought forth at the commandment of God, that all people might praise Your wondrous works.
  49. Then You ordain two living creatures, the one called Behemoth, and the other Leviathan;
  50. And they were separate the one from the other: for the seventh part, namely, where the water was gathered together, might not hold them both.
  51. Unto Behemoth You gave one part, which was dried up the third day, that he should dwell in the same part, wherein are a thousand hills:
  52. But unto Leviathan You gave the seventh part, namely, the moist; and hast kept him to be devoured of whom You will, and when.
  53. Upon the fifth day You gave commandment unto the earth, that before You it should bring forth beasts, cattle, and creeping things:
  54. And after these, Adam also, whom You made lord of all Your creatures: of him comes the people whom You have chosen.
  55. All this have I spoken before You, O Lord, because You made the world for our sakes
  56. As for the other people, which also come of Adam, You have said that they are nothing, but be like unto spittle: and has likened the abundance of them unto a drop that has fallen from a vessel.
  57. And now, O Lord, behold, these heathen, which have been reputed as nothing, have begun to be lords over us, and to devour us.
  58. But we Your people, whom You have called Your firstborn, the only begotten, and Your spirited lover, are given into their hands.
  59. If the world, now be made for our sakes, why do we not possess an inheritance with the world? how long shall this endure?
