Book of Enoch Chapter 1

The book of Enoch Chapter 1 God in the Later days

1 The word of the blessing of Enoch, how he blessed the elect and the righteous, who were to exist in the time of trouble; rejecting all the wicked and ungodly. Enoch, a righteous man, who was with God, answered and spoke, while his eyes were open, and while he saw a holy vision in the heavens. This the angels showed me.

2 From them I heard all things, and understood what I saw; that which will not take place in this generation, but in a generation which is to succeed at a distant period, on account of the elect.

3 Upon their account I spoke and conversed with him, who will go forth from his habitation, the Holy and Mighty One, the God of the world:

4 Who will hereafter tread upon Mount Sinai; appear with his hosts; and be manifested in the strength of his power from heaven.

5 All shall be afraid, and the Watchers be terrified.

6 Great fear and trembling shall seize them, even to the ends of the earth. The lofty mountains shall be troubled, and the exalted hills depressed, melting like a honeycomb in the flame. The earth shall be immerged, and all things which are in it perish; while judgment shall come upon all, even upon all the righteous:

7 But to them shall he give peace: he shall preserve the elect, and towards them exercise clemency.

8 Then shall all belong to God; be happy and blessed; and the splendour of the Godhead shall illuminate them.

Chapter 1
The Apocalypse of Ezra Chapter 1 Prophecy concerning the coming church of Christ

  1. The second book of the prophet Ezra, the son of Saraias, the son of Azarias, the son of Helchias, the son of Sadamias, the sou of Sadoc, the son of Achitob,
  2. The son of Achias, the son of Phinees, the son of Heli, the son of Amarias, the son of Aziei, the son of Marimoth, the son of And he spake unto the of Borith, the son of Abisei, the son of Phinees, the son of Eleazar,
  3. The son of Aaron, of the tribe of Levi; which was captive in the land of the Medes, in the reign of Artexerxes king of the Persians.
  4. And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
  5. Go thy way, and show my people their sinful deeds, and their children their wickedness which they have done against me; that they may tell their children’s children:
  6. Because the sins of their fathers are increased in them: for they have forgotten me, and have offered unto strange gods.
  7. Am not I even he that brought them out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage? but they have provoked me unto wrath, and despised my counsels.
  8. Pull your hair from your head, and cast all evil upon them, for they have not been obedient unto my law, but is a rebellious people.
  9. How long shall I tolerate them, unto whom I have done so much good?
  10. Many kings have I destroyed for their sakes; Pharaoh with his servants and all his power have I smitten down.
  11. All the nations have I destroyed before them, and in the east I have scattered the people of two provinces, even of Tyrus and Sidon, and have slain all their enemies.
  12. Speak therefore unto them, saying, This says the Lord,
  13. I led you through the sea and in the beginning gave you a large and safe passage; I gave you Moses for a leader, and Aaron for a priest.
  14. I gave you light in a pillar of fire, and great wonders have I done among you; yet have ye forgotten me, says the Lord
  15. This says the Almighty Lord, The quails were as a token to you; I gave you tents for your safeguard: nevertheless you murmured there,
  16. And triumphed not in my name for the destruction of your enemies, but ever to this day do you still mutter.
  17. Where are the benefits that I have done for you? when you were hungry and thirsty in the wilderness, did you not cry unto me,
  18. Saying, Why have you brought us into this wilderness to kill us? it had been better for us to have served the Egyptians, than to die in this wilderness.
  19. I took pity upon you, and gave you manna to eat; so you did eat angels’ bread.
  20. When you were thirsty, did I not open a rock, and waters flowed out to your fill? for the heat I covered you with the leaves of the trees.
  21. I divided among you a fruitful land, I cast out the Canaanites, the Pherezites, and the Philistines, before you: what shall I do more for you? says the Lord.
  22. This says the Almighty Lord, When you were in the wilderness, in the river of the Amorites, being athirst, and blaspheming my name,
  23. I gave you not fire for your blasphemies, but cast a tree in the water, and made the river sweet.
  24. What shall I do unto you, O Jacob? you, Juda, do not obey me: I will turn me to other nations, and unto those will I give my name, that they may keep my statutes.
  25. Since you have forsaken me, I will forsake you also; when you desire me to be gracious unto you, I shall have no mercy upon you.
  26. When shall you call upon me, I will not hear you: for you have defiled your hands with blood, and your feet are swift to commit manslaughter
  27. You have not as it were forsaken me, but your own selves, says the Lord.
  28. This says the Almighty Lord, Have I not treated you as a father his sons, as a mother her daughters, and a nurse her young babes,
  29. That you would be my people, and I should be your God; that you would be my children, and I should be your father?
  30. I gathered you together, as a hen gather her chickens under her wings: but now, what shall I do unto you? I will cast you out from my face.
  31. When you offer unto me, I will turn my face from you: for your solemn feast days, your new moons, and your circumcisions, have I forsaken.
  32. I sent unto you my servants the prophets, whom you have taken and slain, and torn their bodies in pieces, whose blood I will require of your hands, says the Lord.
  33. This says the Almighty Lord, Your house is desolate, I will cast you out as the wind blows the dust.
  34. And your children shall not be fruitful; for they have despised my commandment, and done the thing that is an evil before me.
  35. Your houses will I give to a people that shall come; which not having heard of me yet shall believe me; to whom I have shown no signs, yet they shall do that I have commanded them.
  36. They have seen no prophets, yet they shall call their sins to remembrance, and acknowledge them.
  37. I take to witness the grace of the people to come, whose little ones rejoice in gladness: and though they have not seen me with bodily eyes, yet in spirit they believe the thing that I say.
  38. And now, brother, behold what glory; and see the people that come from the east:
  39. Unto whom I will give for leaders, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Oseas, Amos, Micheas, Joel, Abdias, Jonas,
  40. Nahum, Abacuc, Sophonias, Aggeus, Zachary, and my messenger, which is called also an angel of the Lord.
  41. But remember this as 70 weeks was appointed as foretold by Daniel. Embrace your children until I come and show mercy unto them: for my wells run over, and my grace shall not fail. Mother, embrace your children, and bring them up with gladness, make their feet as fast as a pillar: for I have chosen you, says the Lord. And those that is dead, I will rise up again from their places, and bring them out of the graves: for I have known my name in Israel. Know your saviour. For my covenant with Abraham is everlasting.

The book of Genesis
Faith Saturday Bible Translation #FSBT
Chapter 1
The book of Genesis Chapter 1 The bloodline of the gentiles

  1. In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
  2. And the earth became without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
  3. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
  4. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
  5. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
  6. And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
  7. And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
  8. And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.
  9. And God said let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
  10. And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters God called Seas: and God saw that it was good.
  11. And God said, let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
  12. And the earth brought forth grass and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
  13. And the evening and the morning were the third day.
  14. And God said, let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
  15. And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
  16. And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
  17. And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
  18. And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.
  19. And the evening and the morning were the fourth day
  20. And God said, let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
  21. And God created great whales, and every living creature that move, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
  22. And God blessed them, saying, be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.
  23. And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.
  24. And God said, let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
  25. And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and everything that creep upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
  26. And God said, let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping things that creep upon the earth.
  27. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God man was created; male and female.
  28. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that move upon the earth.
  29. And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
  30. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to everything that creep upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.
  31. And God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
  32. Thus the heavens and the earth were finished and all the host of them.
  33. And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
  34. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
