The month of July is a powerful blessed month, during which many Christians around the world fast. The first 7 days are of great importance especially the 7th day. During ancient times the 7th month was when the book of the law was read and explained to all of the Jews whom could understand and praise was giving the our Might God The alpha and omega, the beginning and the end of all things.<\/p>\n
And all the people gathered as one man at the square which was in front of the Water Gate, and they asked Ezra the scribe to bring the book of the law of Moses which the LORD had given to Israel.
\nThen Ezra the priest brought the law before the assembly of men, women, and all who could listen with understanding, on the first day of the seventh month.
\nAnd he read from it before the square which was in front of the Water Gate from early morning until midday, in the presence of men and women, those who could understand; and all the people were attentive to the book of the law.
\nAnd Ezra the scribe stood at a wooden podium which they had made for the purpose. And beside him stood Mattithiah, Shema, Anaiah, Uriah, Hilkiah, and Maaseiah on his right hand; and Pedaiah, Mishael, Malchijah, Hashum, Hashbaddanah, Zechariah, and Meshullam on his left hand.<\/p>\n
Then Ezra blessed the LORD the great God. And all the people answered, \u201cAmen, Amen!\u201d while lifting up their hands; then they bowed low and worshiped the LORD with their faces to the ground.<\/p>\n
En toe die sewende maand aankom, terwyl die kinders van Isreal in hulle stede was,
\nhet die hele volk soos een man op die plein voor die waterpoort bymekaar gekom en aan Esra, die skrifgeleerde,
\ngese om die boek van die wet van Moses, wat die Here beveel het, te bring.
\nEn Ersa, die priester,het die wet voor gelees voor die vergadering gebring, manne sowel as die vroue en almal wat met verstand kon luister, op die eerste dag van die sewende maand.
\nEn hy het daaruit voorgelees voor die plein wat voor die Waterpoort was, vandat dit lig geword het tot die middag,
\nin die teenwoordigheid van die manne en die vroue en die wat kon verstaan; en die ore van die hele volk was op die wetboek gerig.<\/p>\n
En Esra het die Here, die grote God, geloof, en die hele volk het geantwoord: Amen, amen! met die opheffing van hulle hande; en hulle het hul gebuig en die Here aanbid met die die aangesig na die aarde toe.<\/p>\n
