Why Did God Create If He is Perfect?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Why God Created (for His Glory, Not Out of Need)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  1. Isaiah 43:7<\/strong>
    \u201cEveryone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made.\u201d
    God created us specifically to display and enjoy His glory. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Revelation 4:11<\/strong>
    \u201cYou are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.\u201d
    Creation exists because it pleased God \u2014 by His perfect will. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Colossians 1:16<\/strong>
    \u201cFor in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible… all things have been created through him and for him.\u201d
    Everything, including us, was made through Christ and ultimately for Christ. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    On God\u2019s Ways Being Higher Than Ours<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    1. Isaiah 55:8-9<\/strong>
      \u201cFor my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,\u201d declares the Lord. \u201cAs the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.\u201d
      This directly answers why we may not fully understand God\u2019s reasons for creating as He did \u2014 His perspective is infinitely greater. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Romans 11:33-34 <\/strong>
      \u201cOh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out! Who has known the mind of the Lord?\u201d
      God\u2019s perfect wisdom in creation is beyond our full comprehension.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      On We Are Made for God (Purpose & Relationship)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      1. Acts 17:24-27 (key part)<\/strong>
        \u201cThe God who made the world and everything in it… did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us.\u201d
        God created us with the purpose that we would seek and know Him. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Proverbs 16:4<\/strong>
        \u201cThe Lord has made everything for its purpose, even the wicked for the day of trouble.\u201d (Or in some translations: \u201cThe Lord works out everything to its proper end.\u201d)
        All creation, including humanity, serves God\u2019s sovereign and good purposes. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        Big Picture<\/strong>: A perfect God didn\u2019t create out of loneliness or lack \u2014 He overflowed with love and glory. He made us in His image so we could know Him, enjoy Him, and reflect His greatness. Even when we don\u2019t understand the \u201cwhy\u201d behind suffering or the fallen world, we can trust that His ways are higher and that everything ultimately points back to His glory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
