  1. The vision I saw, the second vision of wisdom,\nthe son of Jared, the son of Malaleel, the son of Canan, the son of Enos, the\nson of Seth, the son of Adam. This is the commencement of the word of wisdom,\nwhich I received to declare and tell to those who dwell upon earth. Hear from\nthe beginning, and understand to the end.<\/li>
  2. And let not us, obstruct the beginning of\nwisdom. I received wisdom according the capacity of my intellect.<\/li>
  3. And I obtained three parables, which I\ndeclared to the inhabitants of the world.<\/li>
  4. This is the first parable, in which wisdom are\nhidden, as it is with all parables.<\/li>
  5.  When\nthe congregation of the righteous shall be manifested; and sinners be judged\nfor their crimes, and be troubled in the sight of the world;<\/li>
  6. When the righteousness One appears in the\npresence of the righteous themselves, who will be elected for their good works\nduly weighed by the Lord of spirits; and when the light of the righteous and\nthe chosen, who dwell on earth, shall be manifested; where will the habitation\nof sinners be? And where the place of rest for those who have rejected the Lord\nof spirits? It would have been better for them, had they never been born.<\/li>
  7. When, too, the secrets of the righteous shall\nbe revealed, then shall sinners be judged; and impious men shall be afflicted\nin the presence of the righteous and the chosen.<\/li>
  8. From that period those who possess the earth\nshall cease to be powerful and exalted. Neither shall they be capable of\nbeholding the countenances of the holy; for the light of the countenances of\nthe holy, the righteous, and the chosen, has been seen by the Lord of spirits.<\/li>
  9. Yet shall not the mighty kings of that period\nbe destroyed; but be delivered into the hands of the righteous and the holy.<\/li>
  10. Nor thence forwards shall any obtain\ncommiseration from the Lord of spirits, because their lives in this world will\nhave been completed.<\/li>
  11. In those days shall the righteous and the\nchosen holy race descend from the upper heavens, and their seed shall then be\nwith the sons of men.<\/li>
  12. Never shall they obtain mercy.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
