\u201cNow muster yourselves in troops, daughter of troops;
\n They have laid siege against us;
\n With a rod they will smite the judge of Israel on the cheek.
\n\u201cBut as for you, Bethlehem Ephrathah,
\n Too little to be among the clans of Judah,
\n From you One will go forth for Me to be ruler in Israel.
\n His goings forth are from long ago,
\n From the days of eternity.\u201d
\nTherefore He will give them up until the time
\n When she who is in labor has borne a child.
\n Then the remainder of His brethren
\n Will return to the sons of Israel.
\nAnd He will arise and shepherd His flock
\n In the strength of the LORD,
\n In the majesty of the name of the LORD His God.
\n And they will remain,
\n Because at that time He will be great
\n To the ends of the earth.
\nThis One will be our peace.
\n When the Assyrian invades our land,
\n When he tramples on our citadels,
\n Then we will raise against him
\n Seven shepherds and eight leaders of men.
\nThey will shepherd the land of Assyria with the sword,
\n The land of Nimrod at its entrances;
\n And He will deliver us from the Assyrian
\n When he attacks our land
\n And when he tramples our territory.
\nThen the remnant of Jacob
\n Will be among many peoples
\n Like dew from the LORD,
\n Like showers on vegetation
\n Which do not wait for man
\n Or delay for the sons of men.
\nThe remnant of Jacob
\n Will be among the nations,
\n Among many peoples
\n Like a lion among the beasts of the forest,
\n Like a young lion among flocks of sheep,
\n Which, if he passes through,
\n Tramples down and tears,
\n And there is none to rescue.
\nYour hand will be lifted up against your adversaries,
\n And all your enemies will be cut off.
\n\u201cIt will be in that day,\u201d declares the LORD,
\n \u201cThat I will cut off your horses from among you
\n And destroy your chariots.
\n\u201cI will also cut off the cities of your land
\n And tear down all your fortifications.
\n\u201cI will cut off sorceries from your hand,
\n And you will have fortune-tellers no more.
\n\u201cI will cut off your carved images
\n And your sacred pillars from among you,
\n So that you will no longer bow down
\n To the work of your hands.
\n\u201cI will root out your Asherim from among you
\n And destroy your cities.
\n\u201cAnd I will execute vengeance in anger and wrath
\n On the nations which have not obeyed.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ezekiel 38 and 39<\/h2>\n
And the word of the LORD came to me saying, \u201cSon of man, set your face toward Gog of the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him and say, \u2018Thus says the Lord GOD, \u201cBehold, I am against you, O Gog, prince of Rosh, Meshech and Tubal. \u201cI will turn you about and put hooks into your jaws, and I will bring you out, and all your army, horses and horsemen, all of them splendidly attired, a great company with buckler and shield, all of them wielding swords; Persia, Ethiopia and Put with them, all of them with shield and helmet; Gomer with all its troops; Beth-togarmah from the remote parts of the north with all its troops\u2014many peoples with you.
\n\u201cBe prepared, and prepare yourself, you and all your companies that are assembled about you, and be a guard for them. \u201cAfter many days you will be summoned; in the latter years you will come into the land that is restored from the sword, whose inhabitants have been gathered from many nations to the mountains of Israel which had been a continual waste; but its people were brought out from the nations, and they are living securely, all of them. 9\u201cYou will go up, you will come like a storm; you will be like a cloud covering the land, you and all your troops, and many peoples with you.\u201d
\n\u2018Thus says the Lord GOD, \u201cIt will come about on that day, that thoughts will come into your mind and you will devise an evil plan, and you will say, \u2018I will go up against the land of unwalled villages. I will go against those who are at rest, that live securely, all of them living without walls and having no bars or gates, to capture spoil and to seize plunder, to turn your hand against the waste places which are now inhabited, and against the people who are gathered from the nations, who have acquired cattle and goods, who live at the center of the world.\u2019 \u201cSheba and Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish with all its villages will say to you, \u2018Have you come to capture spoil? Have you assembled your company to seize plunder, to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to capture great spoil?\u2019\u201d\u2019
\n\u201cTherefore prophesy, son of man, and say to Gog, \u2018Thus says the Lord GOD, \u201cOn that day when My people Israel are living securely, will you not know it? \u201cYou will come from your place out of the remote parts of the north, you and many peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great assembly and a mighty army; and you will come up against My people Israel like a cloud to cover the land. It shall come about in the last days that I will bring you against My land, so that the nations may know Me when I am sanctified through you before their eyes, O Gog.\u201d
\n\u2018Thus says the Lord GOD, \u201cAre you the one of whom I spoke in former days through My servants the prophets of Israel, who prophesied in those days for many years that I would bring you against them? \u201cIt will come about on that day, when Gog comes against the land of Israel,\u201d declares the Lord GOD, \u201cthat My fury will mount up in My anger. \u201cIn My zeal and in My blazing wrath I declare that on that day there will surely be a great earthquake in the land of Israel. \u201cThe fish of the sea, the birds of the heavens, the beasts of the field, all the creeping things that creep on the earth, and all the men who are on the face of the earth will shake at My presence; the mountains also will be thrown down, the steep pathways will collapse and every wall will fall to the ground. \u201cI will call for a sword against him on all My mountains,\u201d declares the Lord GOD. \u201cEvery man\u2019s sword will be against his brother. \u201cWith pestilence and with blood I will enter into judgment with him; and I will rain on him and on his troops, and on the many peoples who are with him, a torrential rain, with hailstones, fire and brimstone. \u201cI will magnify Myself, sanctify Myself, and make Myself known in the sight of many nations; and they will know that I am the LORD.\u201d\u2019
\n\u201cAnd you, son of man, prophesy against Gog and say, \u2018Thus says the Lord GOD, \u201cBehold, I am against you, O Gog, prince of Rosh, Meshech and Tubal; and I will turn you around, drive you on, take you up from the remotest parts of the north and bring you against the mountains of Israel. \u201cI will strike your bow from your left hand and dash down your arrows from your right hand. \u201cYou will fall on the mountains of Israel, you and all your troops and the peoples who are with you; I will give you as food to every kind of predatory bird and beast of the field. \u201cYou will fall on the open field; for it is I who have spoken,\u201d declares the Lord GOD. \u201cAnd I will send fire upon Magog and those who inhabit the coastlands in safety; and they will know that I am the LORD.
\n\u201cMy holy name I will make known in the midst of My people Israel; and I will not let My holy name be profaned anymore. And the nations will know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel. \u201cBehold, it is coming and it shall be done,\u201d declares the Lord GOD. \u201cThat is the day of which I have spoken.
\n\u201cThen those who inhabit the cities of Israel will go out and make fires with the weapons and burn them, both shields and bucklers, bows and arrows, war clubs and spears, and for seven years they will make fires of them. \u201cThey will not take wood from the field or gather firewood from the forests, for they will make fires with the weapons; and they will take the spoil of those who despoiled them and seize the plunder of those who plundered them,\u201d declares the Lord GOD.
\n\u201cOn that day I will give Gog a burial ground there in Israel, the valley of those who pass by east of the sea, and it will block off those who would pass by. So they will bury Gog there with all his horde, and they will call it the valley of Hamon-gog. \u201cFor seven months the house of Israel will be burying them in order to cleanse the land. \u201cEven all the people of the land will bury them; and it will be to their renown on the day that I glorify Myself,\u201d declares the Lord GOD. \u201cThey will set apart men who will constantly pass through the land, burying those who were passing through, even those left on the surface of the ground, in order to cleanse it. At the end of seven months they will make a search. \u201cAs those who pass through the land pass through and anyone sees a man\u2019s bone, then he will set up a marker by it until the buriers have buried it in the valley of Hamon-gog. \u201cAnd even the name of the city will be Hamonah. So they will cleanse the land.\u201d\u2019
\n\u201cAs for you, son of man, thus says the Lord GOD, \u2018Speak to every kind of bird and to every beast of the field, \u201cAssemble and come, gather from every side to My sacrifice which I am going to sacrifice for you, as a great sacrifice on the mountains of Israel, that you may eat flesh and drink blood. \u201cYou will eat the flesh of mighty men and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, as though they were rams, lambs, goats and bulls, all of them fatlings of Bashan. \u201cSo you will eat fat until you are glutted, and drink blood until you are drunk, from My sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you. \u201cYou will be glutted at My table with horses and charioteers, with mighty men and all the men of war,\u201d declares the Lord GOD.
\n\u201cAnd I will set My glory among the nations; and all the nations will see My judgment which I have executed and My hand which I have laid on them. \u201cAnd the house of Israel will know that I am the LORD their God from that day onward. \u201cThe nations will know that the house of Israel went into exile for their iniquity because they acted treacherously against Me, and I hid My face from them; so I gave them into the hand of their adversaries, and all of them fell by the sword. \u201cAccording to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions I dealt with them, and I hid My face from them.\u201d\u2019\u201d Therefore thus says the Lord GOD, \u201cNow I will restore the fortunes of Jacob and have mercy on the whole house of Israel; and I will be jealous for My holy name. \u201cThey will forget their disgrace and all their treachery which they perpetrated against Me, when they live securely on their own land with no one to make them afraid. \u201cWhen I bring them back from the peoples and gather them from the lands of their enemies, then I shall be sanctified through them in the sight of the many nations. \u201cThen they will know that I am the LORD their God because I made them go into exile among the nations, and then gathered them again to their own land; and I will leave none of them there any longer. \u201cI will not hide My face from them any longer, for I will have poured out My Spirit on the house of Israel,\u201d declares the Lord GOD.<\/p>\n
Revelation 13<\/h2>\n
And the dragon stood on the sand of the seashore.
\nThen I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads, and on his horns were ten diadems, and on his heads were blasphemous names. And the beast which I saw was like a leopard, and his feet were like those of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. And the dragon gave him his power and his throne and great authority. I saw one of his heads as if it had been slain, and his fatal wound was healed. And the whole earth was amazed and followed after the beast; they worshiped the dragon because he gave his authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, \u201cWho is like the beast, and who is able to wage war with him?\u201d There was given to him a mouth speaking arrogant words and blasphemies, and authority to act for forty-two months was given to him. And he opened his mouth in blasphemies against God, to blaspheme His name and His tabernacle, that is, those who dwell in heaven.
\nIt was also given to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them, and authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation was given to him. All who dwell on the earth will worship him, everyone whose name has not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who has been slain. If anyone has an ear, let him hear. If anyone is destined for captivity, to captivity he goes; if anyone kills with the sword, with the sword he must be killed. Here is the perseverance and the faith of the saints.<\/p>\n
Micah 5<\/h2>\n
\u201cThen in his place one will arise who will send an oppressor through the Jewel of his kingdom; yet within a few days he will be shattered, though not in anger nor in battle. \u201cIn his place a despicable person will arise, on whom the honor of kingship has not been conferred, but he will come in a time of tranquility and seize the kingdom by intrigue. \u201cThe overflowing forces will be flooded away before him and shattered, and also the prince of the covenant. \u201cAfter an alliance is made with him he will practice deception, and he will go up and gain power with a small force of people. \u201cIn a time of tranquility he will enter the richest parts of the realm, and he will accomplish what his fathers never did, nor his ancestors; he will distribute plunder, booty and possessions among them, and he will devise his schemes against strongholds, but only for a time. \u201cHe will stir up his strength and courage against the king of the South with a large army; so the king of the South will mobilize an extremely large and mighty army for war; but he will not stand, for schemes will be devised against him. \u201cThose who eat his choice food will destroy him, and his army will overflow, but many will fall down slain. \u201cAs for both kings, their hearts will be intent on evil, and they will speak lies to each other at the same table; but it will not succeed, for the end is still to come at the appointed time. \u201cThen he will return to his land with much plunder; but his heart will be set against the holy covenant, and he will take action and then return to his own land.
\n\u201cAt the appointed time he will return and come into the South, but this last time it will not turn out the way it did before. \u201cFor ships of Kittim will come against him; therefore he will be disheartened and will return and become enraged at the holy covenant and take action; so he will come back and show regard for those who forsake the holy covenant. \u201cForces from him will arise, desecrate the sanctuary fortress, and do away with the regular sacrifice. And they will set up the abomination of desolation. \u201cBy smooth words he will turn to godlessness those who act wickedly toward the covenant, but the people who know their God will display strength and take action. \u201cThose who have insight among the people will give understanding to the many; yet they will fall by sword and by flame, by captivity and by plunder for many days. \u201cNow when they fall they will be granted a little help, and many will join with them in hypocrisy. \u201cSome of those who have insight will fall, in order to refine, purge and make them pure until the end time; because it is still to come at the appointed time.
\n\u201cThen the king will do as he pleases, and he will exalt and magnify himself above every god and will speak monstrous things against the God of gods; and he will prosper until the indignation is finished, for that which is decreed will be done. \u201cHe will show no regard for the gods of his fathers or for the desire of women, nor will he show regard for any other god; for he will magnify himself above them all. \u201cBut instead he will honor a god of fortresses, a god whom his fathers did not know; he will honor him with gold, silver, costly stones and treasures. \u201cHe will take action against the strongest of fortresses with the help of a foreign god; he will give great honor to those who acknowledge him and will cause them to rule over the many, and will parcel out land for a price.
\n\u201cAt the end time the king of the South will collide with him, and the king of the North will storm against him with chariots, with horsemen and with many ships; and he will enter countries, overflow them and pass through. \u201cHe will also enter the Beautiful Land, and many countries will fall; but these will be rescued out of his hand: Edom, Moab and the foremost of the sons of Ammon. \u201cThen he will stretch out his hand against other countries, and the land of Egypt will not escape. \u201cBut he will gain control over the hidden treasures of gold and silver and over all the precious things of Egypt; and Libyans and Ethiopians will follow at his heels. \u201cBut rumors from the East and from the North will disturb him, and he will go forth with great wrath to destroy and annihilate many. \u201cHe will pitch the tents of his royal pavilion between the seas and the beautiful Holy Mountain; yet he will come to his end, and no one will help him.<\/p>\n
